OOT and TP

Some claim that OOT is better than TP.
While I do not share this view, I do notice a few things:

1-OOT is incontrovertibly a musical masterpiece
...TP has nice music but OOT's music is just dynamite

2-OOT had more depth in it's exploration
...TP had vast mostly-empty areas with secrets 'called out' for you

3-OOT was a tiny Hyrule, but it felt vast in your imagination
...TP's Hyrule was much bigger, but the lack of exploration depth
made it feel no larger in your imagination than what is in the game.

I still like TP better than OOT overall, but OOT has a few perks that
TP doesn't.

Well yeah, I can agree on most of that, ecxept that TP hyrule was no larger than your imagination, couse my imagination is very big, Hyrule isn´t even close to as big as my imagination. But I dont get this: First you say "Some claim that OOT is better than TP."
Then you say "I still like TP better than OOT overall" , seems .....odd.

I agree with 1, disagree with 2 (what exploration...), and disagree with 3.

Imagination? That has nothing to do with it. OoT has a bland, small and boring Hyrule.

you...are... SO RIGHT! There is no way anything that is less popular than TP will be even recognized by me, speaking of that... i don't even know the games that were made before YOUR current time (exept OoT)

It's easy to make the case that TP is better than OoT is, but you have to remember the games were released 8 years apart.

When OoT came out there was nothing like it out on the market. OoT set the new standard for action RPGs and some people would say 3D games in general. When it came out, it was the best game ever released in many people's eyes.

Now Twilight Princess, is a great game. It does a lot of things better than OoT does, but it also was not as revolutionary, original or unique as OoT when it first came out.

That's why a lot of people have trouble getting past the greatness of OoT, because we remember it as such a special moment in gaming.

I found exploring TP quite fun at times, more enjoyable then OoT even. I remember when I found the spinner tracks on the canyon walls, I had been past them so many times and it was only after I was messing around on the spinner did I find them.

OoT had lots of places that had little exploration to them. Most of Hyrule field was just boring once you were an adult. Nothing to do.

Although TP isnt much better when it comes to enemies in the field. I did like that one place north of Kakariko with the Boar riders. Thats always fun.

Well I have to say, TP is bigger, and the wepons have some cool tricks. (Gale boomerange) BUT OoT, the music just freaks Me out!!!!!!!!!! (Which is awesome)
The only time i got freaked out by a temple in TP was in the Desert one. (With all the re-deads that look so much creeper)
