I used to play Zelda with my sister when we were younger, so we always mixed our names into one, and it has kinda stuck with me on all Zelda games.
On second and third files and such though, I usually name him Link... Or something random that makes dialog's funnier.


Btw, off topic but couldn't find a thread to post it in that was on topic, I just went into the bomb shop in MM, and found a picture on the wall which showed a rocket, and it said the bomb shop was planning on flying to the moon with "bomb-powered flight". Haven't seen that ever before, and I've had the game since the day it came out. Pretty funny!

Well, on OOT I named him after my name, and with MM too. But, on my second file on OOT, which were on the Master Quest, I named him Link.

Plenty of different names, normally just come up with something random such as cheese, ale, bowie (as in david) etc.

The first time, I'll name him Eddy, Edward, or Squid, the second time Link, and then it depends. For instance, if I'm attempting a speed run, I'll name him Speed so I can make it easy to distinguish between the different files.
