Temple of Time major security breech?

Hi. How are you posters today?

First of all let's say If you were trapped in Hyrule and decided to break into the Sacred Realm to wish upon "The Force"' to go home then why not do this instead of gathering the 3 stones and using the ocarina. In fact Link could have done it if he got professional help.

In the Temple where the Master Sword lies there are windows in the back. since, they are up high you would need to levitate up there but then you can smash the windows or cut through them since there were no alarms back then. After that you can steal the sword if your heart is pure enough.

Correct me if I am wrong but I have seen some sources say only Link can pull it while I also have heard you have need a pure heart. Because your intentions are good the sword might let you pick it up since it doesn't detect evil intentions in you?

Some would argue that people who break through windows to sneak into temples and steal swords generally aren't especially pure of heart.

If it were possible to enter the window, it still wouldnt allow access to the Triforce; the Door of Time and the Master Sword were part of the seal between Hyrule and the Sacred Realm.

True. As such, even if you were able to reach the Sacred Realm this way, the Triforce would separate, as it did for Ganondorf, and you wouldnt be able to wish to return home.

hahahaha

I believe it says you have to be pure of heart [about 99% certain], and I know it says only a person "worthy of the title Hero of Time" can pull it.
From this I deduce that only Link, or a person very like him [reincarnations, descendants etc] are capable of pulling it.

That's not what I said. I said I was 99% sure the game said you have to be pure hearted.

Not to pull the Master Sword; you need to be pure of heart to take the Triforce. Only the Hero of Time can pull the sword.

No, you need to be balanced in heart to touch the Triforce. aLttP Ganon touched the whole Triforce, and he wasn't pure.
I'm not sure about the Master Sword yet...I shall see if I can find anything in text dumps.

Darn it my post didn't show up. :> That is one sided though to make Link the only one to pull the sword. besides my intentions aren't evil since I don't wish harm upon anyone unlike...
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
Ganondorf who did have evil intentions and took over Hyrule plus wising to kill the bearer of the Wisdom piece then the Courage Piece.

Searched, and the word 'pure' is not used to describe anything about the Master Sword, but:

Quote:
The Master Sword is a sacred
blade which evil ones may never
touch....
Evil can't touch it.

Nice Creativity with the possible scenario. But I have to say that something would get screwed up if you tried to get to the Triforce by those means

I'm pretty sure you have to be pure of heart to pull the Master Sword. Why are the stones necessary then? To connect the Master Sword of OOT to the Master Sword LTTP, and to give you something to do in the first half of the game.

I have a reasonable theory that the scattering of the stones in OOT may be part of a compromise between Hyrule and the surrounding tribes, to keep Hyrule from hogging the triforce. The evidence for this is unfortunately largely circumstantial. The windows in the back of the room spoil that, but in politics a display of compromise can be as valuable as a real one.

This post kinda hits the nail on the head. I don't think it could happen.

There could be a scenario where a good person must break into the temple of time to save the life of another. Link is needed to pull the Master Sword, so he would have to "break in" with that good person. A hostage situation, or the stones/ocarina being somehow unattainable no matter what and ganondorf being unstoppable in wreaking havoc at the same time, are reasons enough.

But man is this random...

A logical idea, with a few drawbacks.

One of them would be getting up to the windows, a ladder seems to be the best option here or climbing would also do it. Another drawback would be once you are inside, that is if you can get in through the window. I would of thought that the windows would be magically sealed and un-breakable. Anyway, if you decided to jump down and get the sword you would most likely break your leg(s) or back with the fall. The ladder would also come in handy, but wouldn't look good for a quick escape as it would involve setting it up.

And also, wouldn't it be nicer to just stay in Hyrule. It is a nice place after all.

Yes I agree,I would defentivaly stay there,it's just so peacefull and so natural anyways instead of breaking through the window why don't you put a million bombs and go through the wall??

@Ite:
1.Only an idiot would even HAVE one million bombs.
2.The door and walls are protected by magic, bombs don't work.

@topic:
Really, getting into the temple, pulling the Master Sword, and touching the Triforce, is a farfetched idea to EVERYONE but the Royal family and the old wise sacred beings.
