Re: is it death mountain?

I think that Teraminia is a shadow of Hyrule, so it is quite possible that it could be death moutain.

Everything in Termina is not the exact same from Hyrule, I guess it is supposed to be like evereything else.

I suppose I am the only person who believes this, but I think terminia is simply another continent that link found his way to when he got lost in the woods, that being said, I personally hope it is death mountain, showing another symbol of hyrule other then the one in the stone towers.

your not the only person that beleaves it i to think that is the case hyrule is amarica and teraminia is europe! i think that woods of mystory and lost woods are both the same thing!

it's a very good way of looking at it, also if you look closely at both maps in a way the lost woods and the swamp are generally in the same area, lower left. it's possible it could be a reflection, but then how do some people in terminia (the guy outside the spider hut at the bay) know of the GODESS of time(nayru), instead of worshiping the four giants like everyone else?

Re: is it death mountain?

I haven't played the game in a long time. If you are talking about the mountain that you can see from Termina Field, I always considered it to be the Goron/Snowhead/Snowpeak Mountain (I don't remember the name), because it looks all snowy up there. It looks like it has a ring of ice/snow, as opposed to the ring of fire/cloud that is on top of the Death Mountain in Hyrule.

I once thought that it couldn't be the Mountain because it isn't exactly South of Clock Town (or which ever compass location it is supposed to be). However, when you actually exit the field going South, there are twists and turn and you eventually end up SouthEast or SouthWest, and so that is where the Mountain's location really is.

That's not exactly correct because if they were the same thing then more people from hyrule could just waltz on over there and travel between the two places but they can't and they have'nt so they are two different places

and the mountain in the game is probably just a mountain they put in to represent snowhead or maybe just a random mountain

That's not necessarily true, why would people from the great land of Hyrule wish to go to the "doomed land" of terminia as the owl states in the swamp
on top of that, people fear the lost woods, why would they wish to venture into it?

Re: is it death mountain?

I still say its just a shadow of Hyrule, a paralle universe if u will. One the happier place, while the other is... well on its way 2 hell lol.

Re: is it death mountain?

IF termina were connected Geographically to Hyrule, I'm fairly certain it would have to be west of Hyrule, just past the desert. That puts it on the wrong side to be OOT's Death Mountain. In TP however, mountains extend across the entire northern part of the map, even though they only really refer the the Goron's area as Death Mountain.

perhaps what the game was implying as link fell through the portal was that he was being transported to somewhere far away, so to speak, in that case terminia and hyrule wouldn't have to be connected but instead be on the same continent, the map of OoT has no ocean, while Termina has one that goes clear off the map.
Perhaps death mountain being so large(as it was still in wind waker after the flood) was visible from terminia

I agree with him that I thought it was all ways Snowhead. I'm 1 of the people that thinks Termina is a parallel universe.

Re: is it death mountain?

Well,
basicly termia is the shadow of hyrule,
and it might even be right next to hyrule
seeing as Link can ride Epona in order to get there,
so it could be the actual thing.

Re: is it death mountain?

The Death Mountain-like landmark is, in fact, Woodfall itself, which is situated in the epicenter of the Southern Swamp.
