Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
I have a really lame one for Mm. Be the Goron and play the drums, hold r and rapidly play the song of soaring then mash buttons. This should let you play without link moving his hands. Stupid yes, pointless yes. But its these small pleasures that keep me going.

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
Today, a glitch was found so that we can skip the door of time as a child without the three spiritual stones and without the ocarina of time, meaning the game can take less than an hour to complete for an experienced player, and the child dungeons can be completed as an adult if you want to.

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
One for the Water Temple on OOT. Paralyze a tektite, give it a few seconds, and line yourself between the tektite and the water. Perform Din's Fire when the tektite is about to move again. It should bump you into the water, you'll sink to the bottom and perform a ball of fire underwater.
Not particularly useful, but neat, nonetheless. If you do Din's Fire on a moving Magic Bean platform the camera stays in one spot temporarily, so it looks like a flaming, floating ball hurling through the air.

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
I have two glitches for OoT, neither of which i found by myself or intend to take any credit for.
*takes deep breath* The first one is a way of getting more than 4 bottles. Go to a grotto or somewhere with something like a fish or a bug in it to capture in your bottle, set the bottle to a certain c button. swing your bottle at the creature and as link is swinging, pause the game and put something useless(like deku nuts, sticks, zeldas letter, etc) over the button that the bottle was on and unpause. when you pause again you will see that the thing that you put over the c button has turned into a bottle! The second glitch is a infinite skultula glitch. there is a secret grotto near the entrance to Gerudo valley in the middle of a circle of stones, bomb it, and enter the grotto. you will find some webs and a gold skulltula. use dins fire to take out the webs and the skulltula, THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE WITH A BOOMERANG (as far as i know), stand as close as the ray of light you can while still targeting the token, throw the boomerang and at the same time, backflip into the light. this takes a bit of good timing but if you did it right, you will see that the token has counted, but the Gold skulltula is there!(if you screw up you can save every time after you get the token and turn your console off and on, this is obvious but i just thought id put it in) i have never used the second glitch to my benifit in the game but it does work, i think these are both pretty cool there is another one that i have just found MYSELF and if someone else has found it than this is going to be pretty embarassing *takes a deeper breath that PWNS last one* okay we all know about the using items as an ocarina glitch, if you dont its all over youtube, well if you try it with another bottle(the second bottle has to be empty), when you hit the ground link will drink something that replenishes most of your hearts, i know you can do this with cows but with this glitch you can do it ANYWHERE!

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
In MM I found out how to ride only epona.
1.You get ten rupees and the Giants Mask equiped on a C botton 2.Go on Epona and save on her at Milk Road 3.Start the game again and go talk to the gorman bros without pressing any botton(of course you can press the analogue stick and the action button, but only to talk to them) 4.As soon as the game starts tap on the C botton you equiped the Giants Mask on. Link will do a kind of transformation like he does when he puts on a mask(the speicial scene)and if you move you will move only Epona. NOTICE:You can only ride her while the race is on,as soon as it finishes you will come back at the Gorman Bros farm.

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
Ok I know this isn't a glitch but it really freaked me out. I was just playing OoT and I bumped my N64. It started makeing crappy noises and Link dissapeared! I mean he just wasn't there, it was freaky! Oh and in MM I forget what happened but I was playing MM and I wasn't even warping but then it went to the warping screen where you are in that little ball of feathers and it just froze and the music of the place where I had originally been was all fuzzy. I was really mad cause I had to turn the game off without saving

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
I know, I had a bunch in the old. I was looking through "my posts" for some but the thread doesn't even exist anymore.
And about that noise and disappearing thing, it happens in my other N64 games like WCW/NWO Revenge and Mortal Kombat 4.

YouTube - How to get secret colored gauntlets in Zelda OoT
Yes, you can get different colored gauntlets than gold/silver WITHOUT ANY CHEATS! Depending on how and when you use it, you can screw your file or make it awesome. How not to screw it up is explained in the video. For those who don't know how to do the "steal the rod" glitch explained in the video: YouTube - Steal The Rod In Any Version! If you're using an N64 version, you must have 0 deku sticks or it will freeze when you pull a deku stick as adult. GC/VC will not freeze. I'll be posting a crapload of glitches here later. |

Re: Official N64 Zelda Glitch Thread
I saw from a video(in MM) that if you get the great fairy's sword, use it, then go to the postbox(with it still equipped to where you can attack) "show" it the sword and it'll say it won't accept that. After that the sword should be invisible. I don't know if it'll work on any game but as soon as you go to a new place or pull your regular sword out, the great fairy's sword should be back to normal when you take it out again. Another glitch I found while playing MM( don't know if other people have found it) is where you go the side of Clock Town with most of the mini-games like the honey and darling place and the inn, go to where the treasure chest is( you must have either the bunny hood, or a cucco while finding the bombers to jump over the gaps). Next open the chest( I don't think you necessarily have to open it) and then get into a position where you can see the stairs that go to the central part of the town. jump while heading towards the stairs... if you do it right then link should fall below the stairs and still go to the central part.

4th Day Glitch
At the end of the 3rd Day in majoras mask, go to the obseratory and look through the telescope. wait untill the screen fades to black (after the moon has crashed) and press B. You are now in Day 4. A number of things are different. The moon has vanished (it's actually really high), I town's almost empty, Day one's music plays, Talking to some people frezzes the game, Playing the Double Song of time frezzes the game. A few other things probably happen but I havn't fully explored it yet |

Also, another hiiiilarious glitch i found on Zelda's Secret Ocarina, which is actually down atm. Lets see if I can remember it correctly. You need to be Adult Link and have the Hookshot and Megaton Hammer. Go to Lake Hylia. Then stand on the edge of the water, and wait for a Blue Tektite. When it stands half on the land, half on the water, then whip out your hookshot and stun it. Then pull out your Megaton Hammer and hammer the ground so it flips over. If you do this right, the Tektite should be upside-down, then when it tries to right itself, it will fly off up into the air and disappear! This actually works, and is hilarious to watch ![]() |
