Proof that the Running Man is unbeatable
OK, so I was playing OOT and decided to race the running man. Before the race started, I devised a plan.
When you start the race, he gives you a "head start". Instead of running, though, I waited to see what he would do if I didn't leave and waited for a few minutes. He didn't budge, so I talked to him. He said to me,"Heh heh heh. Please. Go ahead." The last sentence he said, the text slowed down as if he was saying it in a slow way that seemed like he was tempting you to go on. Anyway, after exactly 4 minutes, he said I'd taken too long and I was forced to forfeit. This wasn't satisfying enough for me. So I tried something else... I left the tent after the race started and raced to hyrule field. But then I turned around and went back to the tent...he was still there. So I dashed to the bridge in the lost woods only to find him there. Instead of talking to him, I headed back to the tent with the timer still going. Guess what I saw there? The running man. Apparently, he stays in the tent whenever you go in there, even after he already reached the finish! And whenever you go to the bridge, he's right there. Always. So basically, he's never really "racing", it's kind of like there's 2 of him, one in the tent and one at the bridge. Right when you start the race, he hasn't started, yet he's already finished. He's undefeatable. Period.P.S. This is my first thread EVER, so please don't flame me or anything. ![]() |

Re: Proof that the Running Man is unbeatable
Good find, although i already knew about this ages ago. Before i knew about that, i also tried to find a way to beat the running man until i figured out he never actually left the tent.

Re: Proof that the Running Man is unbeatable
People have used gamesharks and set the race timer to zero when they finish and still he beats you by one second so yes, it is impossible to beat him.
