help with Majora's Mask

In Majora's Mask in the beginning when you go to the Swamp and have to help out the one sister of the potion shops and you have to go into the Mysterious Woods then you have to give her the red healing potion. But everytime i go up to her and press the button to give it to her i drink it. And i've tried it over 10 times and from all different angles and distances from her. So how can i get her to drink it? its driving me crazy! How did you guys do it?

talk to her and she'll tell you to get something to help her

Thats not what i need i cant give the red potion to her because i keep drinking it, it says to use the C-stick and i do but i keep drinking it and she doesnt get better.

Talk to her until the text tells you to open your menu and set it to c. I had the same problem, it's kinda funny because it's like you're teasing her with it.

ya wait till she says go to your start screen then take it out(dont click on it!) then keep letting her talk to you and eventually, i forget exactly what happens, but there will be a chance to give it to her
