My theory on the fierce deity

Hi, I posted this already in another thread, but it dissappeared almost immediately afterwards and I only got one decent reply (thanks spike123). So I'm just gonig to copy-paste it and post it here and tell me what you think:



Hi, I'm new here, and I probably don't know half as much zelda facts as most of you out there, so forgive me if it seems I'm talking out of my ass.

I think Fierce Deity is a god. In fact, I think it's the brother of Din, Farore and Nayru. There's this rumor going around that there is a fourth goddesses, and everybody has different theories about this fourth goddes (It's just a rumor that's probably false, but that don't stop people's omagination fromrunnign lose). Now, Why should it be another female? Perhaps there it was a male, and was just as powerful (if not more powerful) than the other gods. Now something happened (insert imagination here) and this god, the Fierce Deity went insane/evil and tried to destroy the goddeses or Hyrule or termina or something. But he was overpowered (three against one) and defeated. Now maybe the goddesses couldn't kill him, maybe they didn't want to, but they sealed him up a mask, limited his powers adn hid in inside the moon for safekeeping, hoping no one would find him. Then thousands of years later Link came to Termina, got into the whole adventure was forced to the moon where he acquired the Fierce Deity mask and put it on, thus freeing his soul from the mask. (explaining why the mask was off when he woke up on the ground after his battle). The Fierce Deity still needs time to regain his power, hence we don't hear from him yet, till the next Zelda game... (or not)

So, what do you guys think?

well, it doesnt say anything about that in the game or in any magazines i've read, but if you think that, then keep your imagination going

I personaly think that the Fierce Deity was just a powerfull warrior that defeated Majora in an ancient time , but that the battle had worn out his body and he was dieing.
Then their power was sealed in a mask (one mask for each of course).

Now for him being evil , maybe Majora did something that made something in him snap.
Errr , killed all the people in his village for example.
Like I said , he snapped , but defeating Majora didn't release his angre.
And then getting his spirit sealed inside a mask didn't help either.

When the Fierce Deity's powers got combined with Link's courage in the final battle of MM , their power was to much for Majora to handle , and he was really killed this time.
The Fierce Deity's soul found rest and departed from the mask , much like Majora's sould departed from Majora's Mask.

Ty, to get to the thread I made go to N64 Zelda. Then scroll to the bottom of the page. you see a bar at the end of the selectable threads, it gives you three options. Click on the third option. It says "See posts from ____ days ago". Choose an ammount of days. You will see threads people haven't responded to lately and eventually you will find my thread.

I'm saying this because the moderators might close this page because there is a page just like it.

what's the deal with fierce diety and sheikahs??

both have cool tatoos on face, and cool clothes, and both dangerous. shiekahs protect royalty and the fierce diety guy has a cool sword.

No, I don't think that at all. Face paint is also easy to get. I think both of them bought face paint at the dollar store. The Sheikah were never referred to as dangerous. And having a sword doesn't mean you protect the royal family. So I see no conection at all.

how will they protect royalty? by making a deal with the enemy? no!

it is doubtful that feirce deity was one of the gods/godesses, he would have played a bigger role in the creation of hyrule. on the hylian sheild, there is a fourth triangle, but i'm not sure what it represents. it may be that there is a fourth god, but it also might represent the fact that you can touch the triforce, or mabey that it can be broken into three peices. there are alot of theories. but back to feirce deity, the most likley theory is that he was a powerful warrior that could use magic. he fought long ago, and battled with majora. i'm blabing so i will stop

well now i think that the Fierce Deity really should have been added to the ocarina of time, but you know they should make for GameCube a game called The legend of Zelda ocarina of time+Majora's Mask remix which has it to where you have an new feture screen on ocarina of time to where you have both lands together but theres a portal room in the temple of time in the very back behind the stone and once you beat the game you can go there as young, or little link, but if you go there as Big link you could have a equiped screen still,(you would have like a few more screens than before to switchto) but like you can switch worlds any time, and once in Tameria that door that is usually there that closes behind you is instead a portal and when you go up the stairs you still talk to the mask sells man guy aand do like you did before and you have the ocarina screens when you press pause and you have another item screen and masks screen and map screen and music screen and the other music screen from ocarina of time(thats what i meant buy more screens) like you would have the deku mask, but have a deku shield and a wooden sword(as sharp and a metal one!) and go around like always to get the flute back(and suprise, new color to the ocarina..its ReD!)
and like play it to that mask guy to turn back, then head to the four places to beat the bosses, then once you have all masks(besides feirce deity,) go back to portal and make sure you have all wepons and equptions, then head back and play the Oath of Order to call the four giants, and once at the moon and done the quests you can get the fierce deity and if you turned into big link once back from the portal you are FUSED with the Feirce Deity(Literaly) and your Master Sword and the Double Helix are together and your shield Would be kind of Golden called a Helix Shield (I Pro drew the picture) and you have the Triforce all three show on your hand! PLUS Majora now has 5 FORMS and is 3x harder than before but that makes it all fun and it even shows his health, ( oh and your so happy glad fact, your health and ocarina is added and your have like 20 Giant hearts) and So once you have beaten him(Majora) Ganondorf shows up and Fuses with Majora and you now have a new world to go to plus you now have even more screens added (its a big screen used game ) so then if the game -Zelda Ultimate Ocarina Majora Remix- is Made you would just have to see what they make of Majora and Ganondorf together what they look like(i made a picture of it) but they would make the world AWSOME im sure, so there would now be a red portal (1st one was blue) 2nd one is red) go to the seond one after game is beat.(oh and it does ask if you want to save so press yes) then you automatically start off at the top of the clock tower, it shows you can go down stairs then go down and go through doors and head down to where the metal door is and you see two portals go to the red one(oh and you can go back so dont be worried) so beat the game. and thats all i have to say if there was THE MOST GREATEST GAME EVER IN THE WHOLE INTIRE WORLD TO BE MADE AS THAT, that is all i have to say but that would be the greatest game if ever made, and if you AGREE then reply this post.

FD Link was a god, however he was in no way related to the goddess'.One day he saw Majora wreaking havoc on earth so he came down and beat the living crap out of him but majora did something to him and released all of FD Links anger and power. FD link tried to over run the goddess but they defeated him. Not killed. He was way to powerful for that. They stunned him, captured his soul and put it in to a mask, so that if they needed his power again it could be unleashed. Someone millions of years later found it and wore it. He than let gannondorf out of his prison and the person wearing the mask was struck down by the goddess'. They hid the mask in the moon, to be found and used for good by link a few years later.
