Ganondorf's worst nightmare? An empty bottle!

Over xmas break I finally decided to finish up the last to temps of OoT and defeat Ganondorf. While battling the evil man I tried out various weapons to wound him, none of which worked. I finally realized he was using the same tactics his phantom had in the forest temp(which I completed some 3 yrs ago) I tried to use my sword to deflect the lightning but I must have missed because it didn't work. I died and a fairy restored my heath, it was then that I had the brilliant idea to capture the lightning in a bottle. This is how I discovered that bottles deflect lightning better than a sword. It has to do w/ the way Link swings a bottle but I found this method much more accurate than the sword. Needless to say I defeated the King of evil, rescued the princess, and was sentenced back to my own time.

With a bottle? LOL! I didnt think that would work. I had that idea once, but I didnt do it because I was short on hearts.

I did thet also but on the Master Quest verson.

P.S.It's hard but you can do it with The hammer.

Yeah, I did that once! My friend walked in, and was like "Dude, get your sword out you idiot!" I was all like "Check this out!." lol! When I discovered it first, I was actually trying to catch it in a bottle.

I've done it before but i think nearly everybodys done it. I didn'nt know you can do it with the megaton hammer though.

That is totally awsomely craziness, man! who knew? when i do get virtually consol of LoZOoT, i am so gonna do that!

Yeah, the hammer will work to but I thought the bottle was funnier. I mean he's this master of evil and you can beat him up w/ a common household item. I find the bottle the easiest to use, then the sword and then hammer.

Quick spins are easier to kill Ganondorf with.

I knew about the bottle thing, it seems alot easier to hit the lightning bolt with the bottle, than the sword for some reason. =\ I didn't know about the Megaton hammer thing though. I figured that it would probably work though.

Oh yeah... a lot easier with the megaton hammer. But I tried it with the bottle. You're right, so much better than the sword! Thanks for the tip, I just beat the game! YaY!

Yes, I find it quite intriguing that you can actually do this. I was aware of these "weapons" you could use against him, and have defeated him with them all, I believe. I do not, however, believe his greatest fear is the bottle, rather Link himself.

Who knows, maybe there are other methods of defeating Ganondorf himself. We just need to discover them.

Well, he's managed to fit a Powder keg (MM), Skull Hammer (WW), Ball and Chain, and a Spinner (TP) in his pockets. Why not a cannon?

I honestly didn't think they would let you use anything but the sword, it seems like it would mess up the fact that the Master Sword was the only weapon that could repel evil.
