For some reason it annoys me that, when you use Nayru's Love, Link still acts as if he gets injured, it's just that he doesn't lose health. =P |

I use Nayru's Love not for protection, but for floating across ground (it's fun). Farore isn't something I use for completing dungeons the first time either.

It's inherently an N64 game. The fact that's it's ported to the Gamecube or not is irrelevant - it's still a port of an N64 game. ![]()

Yeah, I mainly used Din's, it's pretty effective and fun to use. The other two I hardly use but Nayru's Love can be handy and nice to use sometimes.

Re: Which magic power do you perfer?(oot)
Nayru's Love of course! It wasn't neccesary, but it made things a lot easier and it looked cool. Din's Fire was pretty good to if I didn't feel like fighting stalfos or whatever. Farore's Wind is next to useless; I only used it once, and it was more to see what it looked like if anything. You should have been able to use it outside of dungeons.

I like using it on redeads since they catch fire and stay that way for a little bit. It's a nice visual effect.

Re: Which magic power do you perfer?(oot)
To be quite honest I never really used any of them very often .. I only would activate Faroes Wind because I thought it looked good
.. but I thought it was really not needed *shrugs*Nayru's Love was probably the most useful for me, always handy to have protection. Din's fire was good for certain enemies, like the floor master & Dark Link, but besides that I didn't use it much at all, oh only in the Shadow Temple to burn those wooden walls closing in on you. ![]()

Re: Which magic power do you perfer?(oot)
Din's Fire: Frigin awesome
Naryu's Love: so so Farores Wind: completely useless and annoying that they even put that in the game.

Re: Which magic power do you perfer?(oot)
Dins Fire: This is certainly the most useful of the 3 Great Fairy gifts. I have used this countless times, whether it be solving puzzles or defeating groups of enemies. Definitely the best.
Farore's Wind: I used this a couple of times in dungeons when I had to quit in mid-game. It was useful, even though I rarely used it. Nayru's Love: I don't think I've ever used this spell before, until recently, and that was after completing the game 100% first. I wasn't very impressed, because I literally had to stand still to get hit in the first place. As it turns out, it was a practically useless item.

Re: Which magic power do you perfer?(oot)
Din's fire is something I use the least, I'll admit it looks cool using that item, but for the most part Farore and Nayru help me out more than ever. If you don't play the game the normal way then you don't even have to use any of the 3 magic spells at all. One thing though, I haven't gotten Din's Fire as an Adult from Death Mountain. I always wanted to skip going up there as a Child since you don't need your magic meter too often until you get your Light Arrows.
Farore is great for the little things, especially if I'm too lazy to get up and turn off then turn on the game again. In the deku tree as Child, I set my Farore warp at the entrance. I have bombs and a boomerang and I go all the way down there to get the last gold skulltala. Afterwards, I just use Farore to warp back up to the beginning. If you want to save time, use it in the shadow temple in the room before the boss room, so that you don't have to go through the ferry wasting time (although I enjoy the ride). Use it in Dodongo's Cavern as a Child in the keese/armos/ladder up to the switch room. I haven't tried it, but I think it is easier to enter that skulltala niche in the bomb flower room that lowers the grey cement block this way. Even for the fire temple Hammer room, use Farore so that you can get back up if you fall down the gap. Nayru is useful for getting double magic early, double health early, flying across hyrule field so you won't have to walk, and other things. As a child, while you have Nayru's blue barrier on you, whip out a bomb, set it down, take out your sword, move slightly away from the bomb. Then face it, and while holding Z and R, just press A while the Action Icon still says Grab. Now once it explodes, you will travel faster than you ever could before! You must still be holding Z and R as far as I'm concerned. As an Adult, this works while wearing Hover Boots.

Re: Which magic power do you perfer?(oot)
I perfer Nayru's love over the others. I like the chance not to get hurt and all that, cause I don't pay attention to my health. After that I'd used Farore's Wind, than Din's Fire. So yeah, thats how I'd rank them.
