Time in MM

OK, I just got The Collector's Edition and started MM, so my question is, does time pass while you're in the temples.

Re: Time in MM

Yes the time always passes, exept Inside Clock Tower. Don't forget to play Song of Inverted Time and you'll get more time!

Yes. As soon as day one starts play the song of time backwards. Then use owl statues to save until the final night, put your $$$$ in the bank and then you can use the song of time. From the morning of day one to the night of day 3 you have more then enough time to do a temple.

you know, Sakon steals Kafei's mask. didn't you know that??? and then you got to get the mask back, so that you can get couple's mask.

I don't think time is frozen when you battle a boss. It keeps going and the only place it is frozen is inside Clock Tower.

Re: Time in MM

Time doesn't stop in a boss battle.
It just continues like normal.
Not to sure if it continues in Sakon's hideout though.

Re: Time in MM

It does continue in Sakon's hideout. If you go there in day 1 you end up coming out when it is night. I don't remeber if it was the night of the third day, but I am sure it was.

Re: Time in MM

your not supose to go in to skakon's hideout until the third day. that's why you end up in the third day, if you go in there on the first day, using that cheat.

True true, I was confused, but I do believe that once you kick its ass and it dies time does freeze, allowing you to look around a little longer. And hey, woulnt it s*ck bigtime if you finally beat that big ugly fish and time ran out (I had to fight him 6 times in the same 3day cycle cuz I later found out I was doing it the hard (read: insane) way. (I fought the thing completely underwater, without romani milk even)

And about Sakons hideout: You spoiled it for him man

Re: Time in MM

I've got no idea. But I think the only "time-stop" is in the Clock-Tower. I think it's a bit annoying to switch to the past.

Re: Time in MM

Yeah. though I liked the stuff with time affecting what npc's do, i DONT like having to reset to the frist day all the time... Maybe a future game could have a 1-day cycle, but repeat it constantly... (or a 3-day cycle or whatever, but not having to warp back in time... just let it repeat normally)
