the monster's theory

this is my theory about the births of monsters in hyrule and termina.
It's said that people who enter the lost woods become a monster, ain't it? well, how about that.
When one enters the lost woods and can't leave, he'll end up in termina, but from that point on he will no longer BE him, he'll start being his parallel, and his real self in hyrule will become a monster same thing on the opposite. So the monsters are people who lost themselves in the lost woods( link between the two lands) and were imprisoned in the opposite land. His true self becoming a monster.
I wonder if termina could be like a trial, to see wheter the person returns or remain monster.
Dark link could have been born that way since link goes to termina as a kid and dark link appears as an adult.
Anyway if you disagree with me where do you think monsters come from?

Re: the monster's theory

This may be the case with some monsters. I think a Kokiri mentions that you become a Stalfos when you get lost in the Lost Woods. On the other hand I doubt monsters like Dodongdo's, Lizarfols, Moblins etc were ever human.

This was a myth made by the deku-tree to keep the kokiri safe within the forest.
I wasn't talking about them becoming monsters when they leave the forest, I was talking about them becoming monsters when being lost in the woods.

Didn't I read somewhere that Termina never was "in the same place twice"? So if that is fact, then Link ending up in Termina was an "accident". So that really doesn't make it a link between the two worlds. How do we know that the woods Link is walking through in the beginning of MM ARE the Lost Woods? The only way I can see the Lost Woods connecting to Termina is through the Southern Swamp where you have to rescue the witch, but Link doesn't come through there. He comes through some magic place underneath the Clock Tower.
