Stone Tower of Babel: Why Termina was Doomed

Ok I read the main chucks of this "Stone Tower of Babel" theory and thought it was well written. The only thing that threw me off was that some of the major points provided was mostly fan fiction.

This has to be one of the most interesting theories I have ever read... and I have one word to say..... wow.... Honestly, where did you find the time to do this? it's an amazing theory... And it all completely makes sense.

That's what's most interesting about it... normally when people make theories, there are big gaps, breaks, and holes that they try to make some excuse for. But all of yours is based from in-game proof... And the Tower of Babel thing really does make sense....

I never realized the hand pointing up, or that the blocks were completely carved on all sides.... I was never foucused (forgive me if I spelled that wrong, I'm still slightly learning english) on the small details of the game, instead just focused on beating it... Because of this thread, I went back and looked at the tower, and it took me a little while, (I have a major concentration issue) but, yes... I fdound the things you noted... And that little warp, it is just a mistake.^^ I think they meant to cover it up, but they forgot. Because I don't see it in any other dungeon despite the fact that most of them DO have endless pits in them. haha. But the connection to the stone tower and Majora's mask.. That was about the only thing that didn't really suprise me. But... there is one thing I noticed... When you walk into the temple in its normal state, I noticed gold, angel-like figures on two areas of the floor one that you step onto right as soon as you walk in, and then look below beneath the area that the bobchu is running. I think they represent the golden goddesses in some manner. And then, you look at the center platform. (where the bombchu is running) it also looks rather.... Phallic.... and it's pointed directly at the goddess on the top floor, and then the other golden goddess/angelic figure is directly beneath it.... So I think that's another thing... If it hasn't already been mentioned.^^-

I believe they wanted to disgust the goddesses with sexually perverted images. That's just my opinion. ^^

Here is my theory about the FD mask. and Majoras mask. Majora was created to punnish termina for what it had done by the goddesses. but the FD came and destroyed majora sealing her power in a mask and sending it to the desert place. but majora got back at him and sealed his powers in a mask too. the Fierce diety saved termina and then when majoras mask escaped it was doing its job. but before its return the goddesses got their revenge. but majora still completed its job. when the kid with majoras mask on said that he was the good guy thats what he thought to be true. and he gave you the mask of the FD "the bad guy". but the goddesses sealed a part of the triforces power in it. So majora thought that he was doing good. and so did link and the FD. and then all is well in termina in the end.

Well, the game explains MM's origins. It was created for hexing rituals.The FD is portrayed as being evil as well. There is no reason for us to believe other-wise.

yeah but majora was never an actual person. it was always a mask. odds are majora was their god or somthing and the mask was made in it's likeness.

I say: what the meadow & tree was to the moon, the twinmold desert was to the sun. In other words, you fight twinmold in the sun.

-I also say the Fierce Deity and Majora were enemies that always fought. Eventually, maybe even as far back as creation, they were sealed as masks in the moon and sun respectively
-The stone tower people found the mask in the sun in a manner similar to what Hylian Dan has stated and used it in 'Hexing Rituals'. Meanwhile the mask grows in power.
-Some disaster, probably Majora related, caused the fall of both Ikana and the Stone Tower people and the Mask was spirited away from Termina
-The the mask salesman finds it
-Majora seeks to destroy Termina, as is in it's nature to do. And, killing two birds with one stone, summons the moon to earth to reunite with it's nemesis the Fierce Deity. Meanwhile the mask grows stonger.
-The mask reaches the moon, finds it's nemesis still a mask and gives it to Link so that he can wear it and they can fight.
-The combined strenght of Link and the Deity is too much for it and Majora is destroyed.

P.S. the tower didn't flip upside down. Gravity itself was merely reversed.
