Catching the Hylian Loach as a kid.

(I posted this in an existing thread from May 2006 before stupidly not reading the no-posting-in-threads-over-a-month-old rule, and felt guilty for performing thread necromancy, but I wanted to mention this anyway, so I just started a new thread.)

I caught the loach with the regular lure, as a kid, and saw a thread via Google on this site with the pic below in it. The thread that I saw it in is now locked (it's from like 2004), but some people were entertaining the possibility of the pic being fake because you supposedly can't catch the loach as a kid. Note that I said "supposedly," in fact it is VERY possible to catch the loach when Link is a kid. It's a little harder, since you don't have the iron boots or blue tunic, but it is possible.

Those pics are from like 2003 or '04. I can guarantee you they are real. I actually caught the loach again today, as a kid, and without the sinking lure. I took two pictures and will upload them ASAP, meaning "when my mom sends them to me" since they're on her digital camera.

I know that it is possible to catch the Loach as a kid. but for it to mean anything it has to be like 20 pounds t oget a Gold scale... thus you have to wait to e an adult so the loach can grow & you cvan get that darn scale
