guards in MM

when youre going to solve the old ladie from the bomb shops trouble, you have to get the bomb bags back from sakon. now, this happens in north clocktown the smallest part of clock town, right in the guards face! when sakon leaves the seen, witch you have to go by the guard, the dude deosnt even budge! is he blind or something?

His only duty was probably just to make sure that no one un-prepared leaves the town. Or maybe he wasn't paying attention. Or maybe he was just programmed to stand there in that one spot *hint hint*…

I think they're half-blind and have short term memory loss.

They're like the gaurds in OoT...can only see something directly in front of them, and can't hear a thing.
