Fierce Deity vs. Oni
What is the difference between Fierce Deity Link and Oni Link? I've heard both many times and could not figure out what the difference is. I just called it Fierce Deity Link b/c that's what the mask is called. Where did the name Oni come from?

Oni also means demon.... If I'm not mistaken ^^;

Why do people call fierce diety oni, if oni never apeared in zelda. I realize that it is a japanese word, but I speak english.

I actually like saying "Oni" more, just because that's what people used to continuously call him. Fierce Deity almost sounds better fit though, and that's probably because that's what the mask is called.
It doesn't really matter to me that much. I say whichever hits my mind first in a discussion.
