Kokiri

I was just wondering, since the korkiri never grow up, does that mean that all of the kokiri were born kids? and, i'm not really going to ask another the other question i have.... anyways, how do you think the korkiri got to be kids?
I think the great deku tree may have done something to make them but i'm not sure.
also, you can talk about anything you may think about korkiri.

Re: Kokiri

The deku Tree I think had everything to do with it. And what do you think... If every Kokiri doesn't grow up, then they must have been created like that...

Re: Kokiri

maybe a dying tribe had there last baby's there, the deku tree grew into a large tree and the baby's were kids now, and the kids' and the deku tree struck a deal about not growing... just a thought.

Re: Kokiri

I'm sure there are multiple purposes on why the Deku Tree wanted the Korkiri to stay as kids. One reason is immortality. They could live forever. Another reason is it could be that the Deku Tree did not want any violence in the forest, because adults are more violent then children. Children are more innocent.

I'm not sure if the Korkiri are born as kids...No Zelda game has ever referenced that. It could be that the Korkiri had always been there since the goddesses made Hyrule. Since they are immortal, and the Deku Tree has protected them ever since. And it was only till WW, could the Korkiri multiple, and reproduce.

Just a probable theory of mine.

that would mean your saying that the goddesses made them? hmm.... that should also mean that all of them should be as wise as the three wise bros. (don't remember exact title.)

Re: Kokiri

Look, none of you seem to know about Dryads. Dryads were minor wood 'gods' in Grecian Mythology. Dryads were tree spirits, so if the tree that they 'were' was destroyed, they would die. Dryads were also ever youthful. I'm not saying the Kokiri are Dryads, I'm saying that they are based off of Dryads.

They are no doubt the seeds of the Deku Tree. But wait up, we saw the Great Deku Tree's seeds, and they aren't Koroks (Kokiri and Koroks are the same race, so I'll treat them equally.) That's because the Deku Trees can choose what the seeds will be before they bud out of it. (Much like how a queen bee lays drone eggs. I'd get more into the explaining, but a few of you might get grossed out.)

They are forever kids. And they have no idea of what's on the outside of the forest. Only stories and tales told by the Deku Tree. Think about it. Where they live, they're averment. It's basically a playground. And because of this, they are always going to act, and be kids. And only know of what's inside their world. Perfect for a kid.

dryads? the korkiri aren't gods. your saying that they are seeds they look more like a human to me. you'd have to show me something else to say that they're seeds.

they may of some connection to nature considering that they all wear green

Re: Kokiri

They can't be the spirits of the forest because the Deku Tree is already the spirit of the forest. As for the plants. When people try to enter the forest they become the plants themselves. So the plants themselves are the spirits. I'm not sure about the Dryad theory. The only thing that resembles Dryads and Korkiri is that they're both youthful...So I don't beleive that theory.

Look, Dark Link. When people get lost in the woods, they become STALFOS, not plants!

Also:
I'm not saying the Kokiri are Dryads, I'm saying that they are based off of Dryads.

Get the facts straight before dissin' on someone will'ya?

so what your saying is that they can be adults but in the form of a kid ?
the deku tree said that if they left the forest they would die as soon as they walk out thats why they never left ?

Oh yeah lol. Let me go delete that.

So now this favors me even more. Stalfos are in Hyrule field. Why would all of them go to the forest, then leave and go to Hyrule field? These creatures are also created by Ganon. Remember they were in his tower as well? The stalfos knights? Obviously these creatures are created by Ganon.

I still think that the Kokiri were there since Hyrule was created. Cause the problem with the theory is that they couldn't grow up from babies to kids. Who would nurture them? How come no Kokiri babies were even mentioned in any Zelda game? I stand by my theory.

Heh, I lost mine...

The lost woods, not the forest. People who enter the lost woods become skull kids. I beleive one of the skull kids talks about it. How he became lost, and never found his way out, and he became swallowed by the darkness, then the darkness took his face. Something along the lines of that.
