Gannondorf?,.......Bottle?,.....

ok so the other day when me and my friend rode to my place to get Oot, we decided to fight gannondorf again, being stupid i said"hey i'm gunna try catch 1 of gannondorfs blast's in a bottle", i tryed but link just smashed back the blast with the bottle, WTF? i thought, but still, how is that possible, was it intended or sumthin?
your oppinions please

Yes you can deflect his blasts with a bottle. It makes it a little more challenging, but otherwise nothing special. Did that help at all?

uhh IDK, i realy don't know why they would still make it that link could deflect blast's with a bottle
they probably put it in there to, IDK have sumthin new to talk to people about zelda, or mabey just to ammuse their selves

Oh yeah, that's an easter egg the developers put in. It's nothing wrong, it's just sort of funny.

It's a nod to an earlier Zelda game, I believe.

The bottle has the same physics has the Master Sword quite funny beating ganon with a bottle fun.

I dont htink its hard the same i think then the last fights not much to talk about is it.

Well, its harder since the shorter and coverage range of the bottle allows less for the sucess rate. Interesting easter egg, but it's not something I remember very often.

It's kind of a homage to ALTTP, since you can deflect Agnahim's energy balls with the bug catching net, and I guess the empty bottles are the closest thing OOT has to the net... But that's still kind of cool.

yeah its just a little silly something/... im not sure wether nintendo put it there on purpose, or if its a glitch (not sure), or for what ever reason, but yes you can do that!

Well when i killed ganondorf for the first time i used a bottle because i thought thats what you would have to do, because i got ALTTP before and i killed Agahnim with the bug catching net so i just thought you would do the same. But beleive this, when i found out you could use the sword i was like WTF!? COOL!

Just gave it a go, and it is cool. A great trick added to a great game. Must see if there are any more tricks like this in the game.

The same trick works with Phantom Ganon in tWW.

It also works in Link's Awakening. When you fight the shadow copy of Aghanim's blasts with the shovel. O_o
