MM Cartridges

Alright for starters. People have been talking about differences between the Zelda Oot cartridges. Are there any differences between the MM Cartridges? And I have the collectors edition. It's gold and has a picture that moves when you rotate the cartridge itself. I looked on the internet and saw a picture of a non gold cartridge and a picture of a gold one that didn't seen to have the moving picture on it. Are there three different cartridges???

Re: MM Cartridges

Well, I have the boring gold one without the moving picture, or a sticker for that matter, I ripped it off.

Me too, in fact, I think I have never seen a normal grey MM cartridgelol!!
Apparantly, on the grey cartridge, there are more glitches to access, like becoming Oni-Link in Sakon's hideout, or stomping around in the Giants mask etc.

Re: MM Cartridges

I have a gold one with the moving picture. And I'll go with what Superdecimal said, that I could become Oni-Link in Sakon's hideout and then wander around Termina with it. But I thought you could do that with the regular catridges as well. *Shrug*

Re: MM Cartridges

Why would you rip of your sticker? Kind of a foolish thing to do. And like Frost Guardian said you can do the Oni-Link glitch.

Re: MM Cartridges

Because that's what it is. We aren't talking about the CD's or "disks". We're talking about the actual original "cartridges" that were for the N64.

Here's a picture of a gold collectors edition of MM and one that isn't a collectors edition (grey). http://www.nespit.com/new/demo/demopics/64mmdemo.jpg

King Cucco, the grey MM isn't pirated. I've seen the grey, gold, and the gold with Link moving at gamestop. It does exist -SkullKid-.
