OOT Gold Cartrige

I was wondering what the gold cartrige looked like because my OOT game has a gold stiker on it. Dose anyone have a picture of it because I can't find one and I would like to try some glitches on my OOT game.

I have a Gold cartridged MM, but, if anything, there seem to be no glitches to access here, they all work on the grey cartridge versions though!

I can't tel you about the OOT cartridge, but the MM one was built out of glittery Gold plastic, with a sticker of Link charging his Sword with the MMin the backround

Yeah I also have the gold MM one but I don't think they had any other diffent cartriges of MM.

There are grey ones, and they are supposed to allow you to be Oni-Link everywhere through a glitch, whereas , in the gold OOT, you could use weapons on epona, and use other glitches.

Yeah thats why I want to know what the gold one looks like because I think I might have it and I want to try the wepons on Epona trick

The gold OoT cartridge is the same as the gray cartridge except the gray is gold.

I think the player's choice one is different but, I'm not sure.

Oh, and by the way, both gold versions of OoT and MM have all of the glitches. When the gray versions of the game came out, Nintendo fixed some of the glitches in both games.

This is true, but the Gold editions were the early versions of the game and therefore were supposed to have many glitches, and as more cartridges were sold (for OOT anyway) te games were updated, to eliminate glitches.

Therefore, the Gold cartridge versions tended to have more accessable glitches.

Yeah that is why I wanted to get the gold cartrige but I am still going to try the items on epona glitch!(Oh and I see you like Gogeta too ItalianLink!)

Good luck with that! I can't do any glitches on OoT or OoT Master Quest because I got a two-game in one disc set for the gamecube. I do, however, have the gold MM, so I think I have access to the glitches. I've never tried any yet, but maybe I will!

I was wondering if the OoT they gave me when I preordered TWW was the gold cartridge on the GC disc (The original OoT in the Disc) was the gold cartridge uploaded to the GC disc? Is it?

Right, we need to clear some things up here.

1.0 - Gold Cartridge - Swordless Link works, original Fire Temple music, Ganon's blood is red
1.1 - Gray Cartridge - Swordless Link fixed, original Fire Temple music, Ganon's blood still red
1.2 - Gray Cartridge - Swordless Link fixed, Fire Temple music changed, Ganon's blood changed to green

I thought the Gold one had the "evil" stuff in it like when you open the Royal Family Tomb there is demonic laughing and the symbol on switches and blocks was religious in origin etc. I didn't think there was different glitches on it though.........

In the GC OOT Gannon's blood is green but I can't rember what color it is in my OOT for N64 game. I gusess I'll have to beat it again to see.

In mine (grey) his blood was green, the symbols on the blocks and shield were the ismalmic symbols, and therewas no 'Allah' chant in the Fire Temple.
