how does link hold up a hylian shield in MM???

Well, if you look at him he is rather 'built' for a 10-11 year old.

Lets just hope he isnt on steroids.

well accully its called a Hero Shield in MM so that means it could be lighter than the average Hylian.

Because now he's an adventure veteran! If he can't hold up a shield by his second quest then he may as well just give up.

I would'nt really say that's a hylian shield...but if it is....it's just a game....so that should be enough to explain why he can pick it up.

Yes, the Hero of Winds could hold up the Hero's Shield as well.

but that sheild was made of wood. The hylian sheild is metal, I think he either got stronger in a 3 month period, or he has a lighter shield.

Does it really matter? Link could ride a horse in Majora's Mask too (ooo federal case!)

You have to remember that game programmers never think about anything due to common sense, they just had it where young link could use the Deku Shield as a kid, but could only duck down when using the Hylian Shield, then when an adult could use both it and the Mirror Shield properly, but not the Deku shield, to add to the element of Ocarina of Time, which was childhood and adulthood. Sense that wasn't an element in Majora's Mask, they just decided to let him do everything he couldn't do in OOT as a kid.

People! It DOES matter. I wanted to ride Epona in OoT. I wanted a nonflamable shield! But no. Then, in MM, boom, Link can do the above. Maybe he ate his Wheaties.

Or the game programmers simply didn't care, plus there is also Hab's points to consider. It's not awfully important at all and I'm sure you will able to sleep at night without thinking about it. It would not really be of great essence if Link couldn't hold up the Hylian shield in this game. And the idea of Link pumping up-- is a consideration, but you won't even need to go that far when you simply think-- there was no need for the Deku Shield.

Okay, long story short and to for my coherency's sake-- it's insigniciant.

First of all it isn't the Hylian Shield, it's the hero's shield, and he can hold it up but he can't up the hylian shield cause the hero's shield is alot smaller, therefore it is lighter. And it doesn't matter who cares?
