"Adult Link Mask" - MM Beta

Here's an interesting piece of Majora's Mask History -



Apparently, in the original versions of the game the fourth transformation mask was the "Adult Link Mask", allowing Link to be restored to his older self without time travel. In the final game, it was changed to the Fierce Deity Mask.

Quite interesting, huh? I'm wondering if anyone can find any pics of when Link was wearing the mask, so we could see what he looked like and if there were any differences to the OoT Adult Link?

That was shown in an article in N64 Magazine - it's true! It wasn't a FD mask, but the same as Adul't Links' face, equipped to the right C button.!!

They do look alot alike, other then the feirce deity being more powerfull, well; I think that could be debatable....

shoot!...I never heard of them first makin' it the adult link mask....I wish I could've seen it.

Don't worry, you missed nothing special, it was just like the FD mask, except it had the normal colour of Link's face for it's face, with blond hair, green tunic and blue eyes!

That would've been nice, I suppose. But I don't think, as superdemical said, I was missing anything in particular since it's just Adult Link...FD has a limited role, but at least it gave him a hell of a fan base, so something new was a nice plan.

Yeah I think it would've been stupid to bring back the Adult Link in MM, as we already had a whole game of him in OoT, as well as the pleasure of using the MS to slice Ganon by the throat.

BTW what sword would've Adult Link (mask) have used as the real MS was in Hyrule. And how would Link have acquired that mask?
Maybe he'd have to heal the memories of his past, or find Navi?

I don't have much to say about this, other than this: I've found a site where they have some MM Beta screenshots. There's about 4-5 screenshots with Link weilding the Adult Link mask, but none of them show him actually using it.
