shadow temple and bongo bongo

I cant beat bongo bongo. I hit him with the arrow in the eye and then i hit his hands with the sword but in never seems to work . THen my friend tried it and it worked , unfortunalely i forgot to save and i couldn't beat him. someone help me.
Do you have to get the big gorons sword to beat him?

no big goron sword needed.

you need to freeze his hands first with the hookshot or something dont you?

i tried that but i can never beat it. do you need the lense of truth?

Bongo Bongo is very easy.

1.)Equip and use Lens of Truth.
2.)Target one hand, shoot and hit.
3.)Target other hand, shoot and hit.

He will charge you so . . .

4.)Target eye, shoot and hit.
5.) He'll be stunned so go hit him with your sword.
6.)Repeat.

sometimes it takes a while, but you just have to keep stunning him and then hitting it with your sword, until hes dead.

I find it easy to equip the Lens' for the whole battle.
I shoot the phantom's hands with arrows, and he charges back, and at this point, I 'B' charge my sword, and when Bongo Bong comes close, I release my sword and he is stunned.
I then use jumping slashes on his exposed eye, since they do double damage, and kill him that way!

When you Z/L target an enemy, and when you press A (with your sword drawn) you do an attack where you 'jump' and slash your taget with your sword!

it's really easy to do it with the biggoron sword! the jump slashes will kill him in about four hits! shame you cant use it against the first foour bosses! (ghoma, king dodongo, big octo and barinade.)

This is what I used. I equiped the hover boots. Now just trust me alright. Then the lens of truth, a fairy, and my bow. I also used the biggoron sword just because it would go faster but the first time I used the MASTER SWORD. :mad:

He's the shadow temple boss of OoT the arena is his drum remember.
Beating Bongo bongo is easy hit his hands equip the lens if truth shoot an arrow in his eye the slash repeat and he's finished

To beat Bongo Bongo, all you have to do is: (use the lense of truth while you fight him) shoot 1 arrow at the hand that is about to attack you(shoot at both hands like that) after that his eye will open. target the eye and shoot it with your arrows BEFORE his hands recover. He will fall down, giving you a chance to strike with whichever sword you have. Keep it targeted and use a jump attack for more power. You HAVE to be QUICK or he will recover. whew!:razz: well, there it is! send me a message if ya need anything else!

Don't worry. I always had trouble with Bongo Bongo. Just follow the instructions that have been posted and you should be okay.
