How does Link survive...

When he never eats anythinG!and the only time he drinks is when he gets Lon Lon Milk!Its quite odd,and infact,I always wanted to be a female Link,but now since he doesnt eat,I cannot.For I am always hungry.maybe I'd sneak a few jellybean pies and dill pickles.*wink wink*

because it's a game? because he isn't real?

because feeding game characters is moving in to the sims radar? - and that would be such a pointless addition in the game.

if we feed him, why not let him have stops to go to the toilet? shower? wash his clothes? shave?

i think my point is made.

anyway, uh...well, it is just a video game. But i understand were your comiing from of course. Poor Link...all he gets is icky potion and milk. Of course in WW he eats grandma's soup, but thats bout it.

But i have a theory. He stores food in his hat. THAT is why Navi (or whatever cursed fairy is with him) goes behind his hat. They steal his food of course, and Link gets outraged.

Anyways, i think the real question would be when does he shower...or clean himself besides just swimming in some lake. o_0

Once again, just a video game. and why doesnt mario eat ever? What about Samus...she must get hungry. And Sonic, he must burn energy running so much.
So yes. Its not just Link that doesnt eat. Besides, he would have to do so many other things just like above me said. Then it would become some stupid reality game were you must feed him, or brush his teeth or else he will loose health? ....ick. Now im glad that Link doesnt eat. Otherwise that would be a bad Zelda game.

I think the reason Link survives is because when you turn the game off he secretly gets out his stash of crips from his backpack and munches them whilst you are off, heh!

I don't think they would've bothered to put the parts of alway's havin' to feed em'...and all that other crap.

Maybe he survives 'cos he's on some itty-bitty diet to maintain his fabulous physique!!lol XD
I don't think his need for nourishment is really an issue in the Zelda games - I don't really see how food is incorporated, unlike Fable, where food restored health, and over eatingled to on-screen vomiting and obesity!

He eats the hearts he finds. What else is he supposed to do with them?

I never really thought that he ate them, could happen, or maybe Lon Lon milk has that special thing that includes all required vitamins, like in the Matrix lol!

Ugh...i just thought how nasty it would be to find hearts in pots and tall grass bushes...

He probably eats Epona's carrots so he can see real well. You never notice, but he probably does something more than swim in the water... :confused:

Maybe Link eats Deku Nuts instead of using them to stun things. Then of course eating somthing that stuns stuff, cant be healthy for you.

I bet Link shoots cuccos with fire arrows to roast them, or maybe he eats Octorocks like squid and I'm sure he eats the fish he catches in bottles when you're not looking. The only thing I've seen him eat in OoT is poes. "Would you like some salt on your evil spirit?"

Link never eats anything because it is indeed a GAME
He also Drinks R/G/B Potions.
Not to be sexist or anything but in medeivel days there wasn't many female warriors.
