Vortex in MM!

It's true! I have found a secret vortex in MM! It's kind of sad though, because there is no possible way of entering it (at least none that I know of).

To find the vortex, you must go into the Stone Tower temple. As soon as you step into the temple (courtyard with a mask on the wall), look into the sky. You may have to move around a bit to see it; because the walkway on the "ceiling" blocks your view. If you look into the center of the sky, you will see a swirling vortex!

This is very unusual, and I can't explain this. Check this out for yourself and post what you think of it here.

P.S. Temple must be right-side up for this to work (normal).

Could it be the vortex that takes you to the boss chamber? I remember that to get into the boss chamber, the temple must be up-side-down and you have to fall into a hole down into the sky to get there.

This could be explained if you describe what the vortex looks like. And until then,I'm going with what Thorn said.

i've heard of that before, i think it's aglitch where you fall out of the game(the endless plane)

I tihnk Thorn is right. When you play you have to be in the inverted temple to get to TwinMold and the chamber has a big hole iun it that you fall through. So it would make sence that said vortex is the way to the big sandy plain where you fight TwinMold.

I think I only noticed a vortex in the sky once. It was right after the first time I beat the Stone Temple (in the cutscene when Link is transported back to Ikana Village). However, when I defeated TwinMold the second time (I was collecting all of the fairies), the sky stayed in its normal state...

I never noticed that, so I went to see, and there it seems to be. Weird. It's probably the portal to Twinmold, but why is it already there..? And it looks so small. Funny.

It could be an easter egg, though zelda games dont usually contain them.

Well, I was fighting the boss in the temple and suddenly, I fell into its hole and I appeared in the beginning of the dungeon. FROM THE BOTTOM. Maybe that's what it is?

I dont recall a "vortex" like that in Majoras Mask, but I do remember 1 in Ocarina of Time...

Anyone want to refresh my memory?

I couldn't find it. I looked and searched, but to no avail.


EDIT: nvm, I see it. And I remember seeing it before. I have no idea what it could be.

Its not the vortex that you use to get to the boss that one is purple and the one we are talking about is yellow
If you ask me its the same color as the thing that takes you to the boss layer after you defeat the boss the first time. and its also right over it the thing
The thing I am talking about is pad that shaped like Majoras mask and you step on it to go to the boss

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And on my screen it's a lightish green or blue.

idk.....I still think it's just.............there..........i doubt you could do anything with the .."vortex".
