Is Rarau the king?

I think Rarau is the king because the king just dissapears after 7 years. mods, if this has been done before, close it. and Rarau is a hylian. what do you think? Is Rarau the king who was killed by Ganondorf?

no way man. We clearly know that Raru was a sage and in his background it never mention anything else about him being a king.

I forgot the link but I read a timeline theory and it had to do with alttp being the first game. If you want I can say as much as I can remember.

Rauru is the owl, the Gossip Stones hint at it.

The owl is the reincarnation of the Great Deku Tree. The gossip stone you hear it from is in the forest. It had to hear the gossip from a kokiri, so why would a kokiri know anything about the sage of the light temple?

Rauru does resemble the king in TWW. The king's name is Daphnes .

The gossip stones don't have to make logical sense. The Owl looks like Rauru, espescially when he turns his head upside down. It is why the owl isn't around when Adult Link is.

The owl always looked like someone when he turned its head upside down (can owls really do that?) but I never knew who. But now you mention it, the owl does look like Rauru!

I can't remember exactly when, but I think it's after you beat the spirit temple as adult link, you see kaepora gaebora fly overhead but he doesn't talk to you.

What? The ones in Sacred Forest Meadow? They only said Kaepora Gaebora was a reincarnated sage. I don't think he was Rauru. Besides, how would an owl help you beat Ganon?

Gee, I dunno, by giving you advice through the entire early part of the game...besides - Gaebora Kaepora is a reincarnated Sage, Rauru is the only one whose earlier story isn't said out loud. 2 + 2 = 4. There's never any hints in OoT that it would be anyone else.

No, he is not King of anything(exsept maybe his butt ). He is the sage of Light. Thats all there is and will be.

Look, the owl is a owl. not Rarau. this forum isn't about the owl. if you want to talk about him, start a new forum. now I think he is the king because the king dissapears, the game doesn't say anything about the king after what zelda said. and another thing, you never actually SEE him. think about it.

Raru is not the King because he's the Sage of Light and if you seen the king in WW he looks nothing like Raru in OoT.

Yeah, but he was the FIRST king. the king in Oot might not have been the first one because they have to get civilized after a while and I don't think that he was the first king because of the Gerudos. the gerudos have one son every 100 years. and if they were able to understand that in Oot, that means that at least 200 years have past since they came into exsistence.Meaning the king in WW has nothing to do with the king we are talking about.

Exactly. Kaepora Gaebora was a reincarnated sage. To be reincarnated, you have to DIE first. And the two of them coexisted. He can't be KG.
