I want to play Majoras Mask !!

Ok so ive borrowed Ocarina of Time GCN from a friend and im gonna work on beating it but i want to play MM when im finished but i dont have an N64...am i out of luck or does someone know if there is a version on the gamecube or sumthin or maybe a rom for my pc...anything will help

You can get the zelda collector's edition for the gamecube. It includes the original zelda, zelda 2, ocarina of time, and majora's mask. But this version of mm freezes up often. For example, I had to replay great bay temple because the game froze up. It froze up one other time as well but that time didn't skrew me over. So just make sure you save often.

The freezing problem can be more or less solved, but it's probably more trouble than it's worth. When you save at an owl and can't afford to lose your progress, copy the file to another Memory Card. If one file freezes and you lose a ton of progress, use the file on the other Memory Card. (I didn't do this.)

It doesn't freeze on me

ive never had mine freeze either...all the versions work great on mine

and MM is a really cool game, its def worth your time

Yes, the Zelda Collector's Edition is the best choice. And even if one of us did know where to find a ROM, guess what? Instant Banment.

All of the ways to get the CE disc have expired by now, I believe, so the only way to get it is via eBay, or another such place. It's truly is worth it, no matter the time it takes to get a convenient price.

The collectors edition is likely to be expensive if you find it used, as it was released in limited numbers and few people are likely to get rid of it.

Combining that with the glitches, i would reccomend finding a used N64, expansion pak, and a copy of the game.

Your just lucky then. I played the game through 100% and helped my friend through the whole game and it only happened twice. But the N64 version never freezes. It even says in the game when you load mm that it had bugs that weren't sorted out when they made the port.

hehe yep... go for the collectors edition, even if you wanted to find a rom.... all the servers that had it.... would be dead cuz its kinda old even for a ROM...I will stuff up now

Get an N64 w. the game... both combined will be cheaper than the collectors edition.

Well boo hoo hoo. When I did the "save Koume, go to Deku Palace, try to clear the annoying maze and get the Sonata of Awakening", the game froze when I was going back to Clock Town to deposit my rupees. Well, I had not saved before that, so I did the whole thing again. But then, when I was returning to Clock Town for the same purpose, the game froze AGAIN! It didn't freeze the third time when I had to do it, but that didn't make it any less annoying. Now I go all berserk whenever I hear the Deku Palace theme, and even writing this post made me mad, as you might have guessed.

Yeah, I'd say your best bet is to get an N64 with the game it will be alot cheaper especially how old N64 is, plus the games sweet its pretty fun I own it and i've beaten it many times. So getting the game and stuff will be worth your time if you want to play it.

Majora's Mask on N64 > Collector's Edition for 'Cube

N64 games just don't work ported onto discs.

Maybe it was a bit "slow" when loading up something like the menu, but I think it was a very good port to the GC and alot of Zelda fans were rejoined with it after selling their N64's for a GC (well, thats what I did anyway)

i think im gonna go with the collectors edition...i cant stand the n64 controller...thats why i never got an n64 when it was the newest nintendo

Get the Collector's Edition or the N64 with the game. Either one is OK. It's a cool game and you'll enjoy it.
