Happy Mask Shop Help

So far, in Ocarina of Time, I've sold all of my masks except for the Bunny Hood. I've gotten a hint from someone in the Market Place about a man running around in Hyrule field. I found the guy, but I can't talk to him because he's already running around. Do I have the wrong guy, or is there some "special way" to get his attention?

Try talking to him when you have the Bunny Hood on. Else you just have to get really close and hit 'Speak'.

Ok, I've done this before and know exactly what to do. You do have to wear the bunny hood, but you're going to have to follow him for awhile. I recommend that you find and start following him in the daytime. Keep following him, and when night comes he'll eventually stop to rest. Talk to him then. When you sell the hood to him, the money he gives you will completely fill up your wallet, no matter if you've got the Child's Wallet, the Adult Wallet, or even the Giant's Wallet!

Go back and pay back some of this money, and now you can start renting any mask you want for free, and now the Mask of Truth is available for you to rent. In case you don't already know, the Mask of Truth allows you to talk to the Gossip Stones, and something else, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I ran around the outside of the ranch in hyrule field, following him till he stopped for the night. Then i gave him the mask then.

After you give him the mask, try to avoid him because he runs so fast that he'll knock you over it you touch him.
