Crooked Cartridge trick only works once?

My friend did it fine the first time. Then he did it again, and it didn't work, but he pulled it out to far once XD Anyway, does it only work once?

Uh, what are you talking about? Crooked cartridge trick? Never heard of it. Elaborate please.

The only cartridge trick i know of is to leave the forest in OOT as a child with no weapons and to get epona in villages etc.
I also know of one where you can get deku link out of clock town before the mask is removed.

There is a trick to slightly pull out the cartridge, which induces glitches etc

I've heard of this crooked cartridge trick before. It can make things happen like what Maxi678 said before and would this trick wreck the game cartridge?

It can if you screw around too much with the cartrige... Just be careful

The crooked cartrige trick is a glich in all of the grey cartriges. On the N64 if you didn't know.

It is fun to do but is deadly for your system and/or game

First you get a friend.

Start a new game and then don't bother with weapons

Run toward the kid blocking the exit

Have your friend keep running into the kid in the middle of the exit.

While he's running pull the right hand side of the cartrige out of the system a little at a time.

Watch the screen while doing this and when Link turns invisible your friend should be able to move Link through the passage.

Quickly re-insert your cartridge while it loads the next screen.

The story continues normally from there

It only seems to work here and that is the only glitch it preforms. You get the gradification of beating the game without getting the first stone.

And it did not mess up my cart but it ruined my friends

The crooked cartridge glitch works with the Gold Edition of OoT. You can actually make Epona fly over the canyon before Gerudo Valley doing that glitch. I recommend looking for more info through Google for a better explanation of this. Trust me, it works, my friend did it and almost messed up his game, it didn't work for a week after he did it. So basically its not a smart thing to do to your game.

Probably a 1/10 ratio.... maybe more. I don't know anyone who's screwed it up before.... but you guys have so don't ask me.

I do it alot but you can always get a memory pack

I'd never use this, N64s are kinda hard to come by in my area, and I can't order off the internet. While it would be nice to see some of these glitches, I'll just play the game how Shigeru intended.
