Use no wepons when fighting ganon...

other than Megaton Hammer and Master Sword. For the part when you use the hammer, after he swings his swords, he stops for a sec, so you go behind him and BAM! Repeat. In the sword part of the battle i tried it and it didn't work. maybe i just was doing it wrong. But its a great way to easily do it.

Uh, it's been known for a long time that the Light Arrows aren't required to kill Ganon. You can wait for him to swing, and then circle around, or you can roll under his legs and hit him from there.

Yeah, the Light Arrows are for the unskilled. I'm not THAT skilled though. I've usually used Deku Nuts and the Biggoron Sword, then the Master Sword, but I think I'm going to do it with the Megaton Hammer this time around when I get to him. Haven't tried it that way yet...

FYI You CAN'T use the biggoron's sword while fighting ganon. I saw it in a walkthrough. But, if you guys have, it can't stop you from doing it. I heard you couldn't. Ah who cares, i'll do it sometime, i haven't touched the 'cube in a while. Or OoT for that matter.

I think you misread my post. I'm talking about using the Biggoron Sword instead of the Megaton Hammer for the first part of the Ganon battle. I kinda wish you had the Master Sword throughout the entire fight. It seems to me that the Master Sword hurts him the most when he's Ganon.

Yes, you can use the Biggoron's Sword during the fight with Ganon, you just can't "kill" (I know he doesn't really die) him with it. You have to use the Master Sword for the last hit, otherwise he'll never die. I ran around hitting him forever with it, and when I changed to the Master Sword, he died at the first hit.

And also, you can't deliver the final blow unless you're using the Master Sword. With Biggoron's Sword, nothing will happen.

And the best tactic to kill Ganon (IMO) is to roll under his legs, hit his tail with the sword, roll back, roll back again (so he won't hit you), hit his tail again and so on. That way you can easily kill him without getting hit once. :cool:

I used to use the light arrows all the time in battles, but after seeing a mate defeat ganon without using the arrows made me try the battle without arrows. I got a better feeling after beating ganon without arrows than i did when i beat him with arrows

I can beat Ganon using only the broken Giant's Knife and the Longshot. You shoot him in the face with the Longshot and slice him with the broken Knife. It's easy.

Wow all i did was use the big goran sword i jsut ran around him and out ran him and striked. It was easy.

The Ganon battle must be the easiest fight in the game. I can clear it in about 3 minutes.

I've never really tried to beat Ganon without the Light Arrows. I can go the first ten hits w/o them (when you use the Megaton Hammer) but after that I always start using them just to save time. The first half of the fight you can just roll between his legs to get behind him, that doesn't work for the second half.

If anyone wants a bit of a more challenge when facing Ganondorf and Ganon, since he isn't a difficult boss to defeat, equip Link with the Iron Boots, its fun and requires a bit more difficulty, but not much.

I don't think my brother will agree with you. He's tried that, and he only managed to almost get killed really, really fast. He thinks its suicidal to do it that way. Then again, he's probably not doing it right.

I used the loongshot the first time i cleared Ganon and thet worked really well...And it was easy too...

i know using light arrows is for "bigginers" but i love using them cause i never lose a heart. i just keep my distance and shoot an arrow run and hit him the run away agin till i can knock another arrow. works for me.
