rumors, cheats and glitches!

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any glitches in the N64 Zelda's that I didn't know. If so, post them here! To get the ball rolling:

To have an invisible Link in Lake Hylia, first go to the Gerudo valley with Epona. Stop outside the Carpenter's Tent and ride carefully towards the entrance. Try leaning Epona from one side to the other. If you get it just right, you will enter the tent without having to dismount Epona. Whilst inside the tent, pull out your ocarina and warp to Lake Hylia. Epona will appear on the pedestal, with an invisible Link on. You can dismount, walk around, and can't be hurt by enemies, though they will try to attack. you. Pressing C-Up will jump you to a view under the pedestal, by Epona's feet.

The original warping from the tent bit also leads to other glitches, like appearing in the sky above Lake Hylia on Epona - to do this, set a Farore's Wind warp point inside the Temple of Water first, use the ocarina to warp to the Fire Temple, then use Farores wind.

I truely have not heard any of those glitches myself. But i wil have to give them a try. I also belive there is a thread liek this already but i may be mistaken. But anyway....ill have to try them *runs off to try glitch and never comes back*

Glitches in OOT? Dear god, where do I start....

Well, hookshot onto the branch leading into the forest temple from directly under it (or as close to directly under it as possible) and Link should pass right through the branch and end up standing on top of it. Then, facing the temple, jump off the branch and link will pass right through the ground and then somehow end up inside the temple.

i have one that i have seen work i dont no if it was a wonce in a life time accident but i just off death mountain and lost some health but when i came bak up the world went black it was funny

You can get Ganon to spin in a rapid circle by circling one of his legs after the second half of the fight again. God, I don't care what anyone else says, that is the worst zelda boss ever.

Best Glitch I know would have to be the bottle trick. With this you can make any one of your items become a bottle. But beware, if you save afterwards you won't be getting the item back so don't use it on something important!

Go to Zora's domain as a kid, or anywhere where there is fish. Equip a bottle and use it as if you were catching a fish. But, before Link grabs the fish, press start and equip an item over the bottle you just used. Link will still grab the fish and the item you just equipped will become a bottle. It is possible to get 24 bottles this way!

Many Zelda glitches can be found on sites such as GameFAQs and www.gamewinners.com and http://zeldachaos.hostsurreal.net/ Zelda Chaos is definetely the best. They've got thousands of glitches, codes, cheats, beta things, etc... I highly recommend Zelda Chaos!!!

I once got this one, although it has only happened once, as adult, I was standing in the spot that you appear in right after you enter Hyrule Castle Market from the Castle, and then I switched controllers, link started to disappear and started to flash, (now I'm here- now I'm not) and then when I put the other controller in Link seemed to be flying in the air way above the market, but then the game froze.

I've never seen any glitches really. When link is a kid, if you roll into some enemies you don't take any damage.

if you have a cheat that you never tested then it counts as a rumor,
if you have a cheat that only you can do and no one else accomplished (like they did all the steps) its considered a rumor.
if 4 people do all the steps of a cheat and it does not work it is a rumor
if 4 people do all the steps of a rumor and it deos work it is a cheat

steal hat- in the fish pond if you aim yourself just right at the fisherman you can get his hat by casting the line, but you do not wear ir
no sword-at gannon when he nicks your sword out of your hand save it befor you change swords then restart the system, now you have no sword so get on epoa and use your c buttons for weapons =).

rumors,
i heard that if you get a perfect score at the horseback archerygame you get a secret item. if you get another perfect score you get a new horse.

... Well for the cheats theres a glitch thread... There are links there to very nice sites where glitches and cheat are king... so you might want to chek there for some good ones... sorry i dont have any myself..

If you get a perfect score in the horseback archery then you get the biggest quiver... Another perfect score I think gets you a heart or something. There is no secret item or anything... And the "Swordless Link" code works only on Zelda v. 1.0( the gold cartrage)... And just for the record... You dont get anything for beating the running man... You get a cow for Malon's obstacle course... NOTHING ELSE...No matter how fast you beat it... There is no golden saddle or anything as some rumors suggest...

there are ways to get the swordless link in every version of the game including the GC one and Master Quest

Cheats and rumors, I'm pretty sure you can only get those by gameshark or action replay, now there are plenty of glitches and secrets to find..

Cheat: If you swing a bottle at a fairy quickly pause right before you capture it and put something useless (biggornsword claim check) in the c-button where the bottle was, It will then turn into a bottle. You can turn all your items into bottles. Be careful not to save if you turn something important into a bottle.

Please do save after you've done that so I can laugh at you lol

I have a rumor that worked once, I switched controllers and link disappeared, and then appeared again flying in the sky. I was right where you are when you come into the market from Ganon's Castle.

i do know one glitch in the link to the past for both the gba and snes versions

well it doesnt work evrytime but ive done it 3 times once when i was young and twice because i came upon it and i wanted to try it again

when you first get the peagusus boot go into town and the lady on the north west side of the village in the light world that sends the gaurds on you when you go next to her well... if you run into her w/ the pegusus boots you will "sometimes" bash off of her and when she sends the gaurds you are stuck in the air paralized from the bash

has this happend to anyone else b4??

most people know this but anyway, you know the hole outside Hyrule Castle where there is a golden skulltula? if you throw a boomerang at it, then step into the light (to get out) before it comes back to you, then go back in, the golden skulltula will be there again even tho you have the token
