Did Link smoke pot in beta OOT?

I think someone put that in there...Oo; Why would Nintendo put Link smoking pot in the game? That doesn't seem very heroic....and maybe when he had his hand up to his mouth, it could have been something he randomly did, like when he sneezes or something. O_o; I doubt Nintendo would put one of their best characters doing drugs in a video game.

Same here I think someone just had a bit of fun with the screen shots... and or the programers played around with the game design(highly doupt it)... Nevertheless its a joke and it deserves to be laughed at.... ha.... ha...

Me too.. Some computer wiz probably made that.....

1. Obviuosly faked, 2. It doesn't take a "Wiz." to do that sort of stuff, I coudl do it in MS Paint in under 30 seconds. 3. This is in no way funny, why would Link on drugs be funny?

Seriously, unless that is some object that we don't have in our American version, it's photoshop. Being an expert on neither, I'll leave that up to others. However, because of so many threads like this, a new place should be set called Hoaxes or whatever you so desire.

well since that was the japan version i would say that the person who did that had some old japan software from like when the game came out

Okay, I can't see the screenshot, nor have I ever, so I'm not convinced at all. Plus, that so unNintendoish... why would they make Link do that? Sounds like photoshop trickery to me...

Apparently it WAS an item in the early stages of the game, known as a 'Reed Whistle', and used to call Epona. Not sure how reliable that is, but it makes more sense than Link being a pot-smoker
