Re: Story connections btween OoT and MM?
Though Termina is an "alternate dimension", I think its just a cheap way of saying, "we didn't want to make too many new models for the game, so we just re-used exsisting ones". heh

Re: Story connections btween OoT and MM?
Hyrule is the "main land" that the Zelda series takes place in. Other games take place in different lands, though Majora's Mask is an alternate dimension to Hyrule. Therefore, many of the characters in the previous game are present (though often in different roles and somewhat different personalities).

I have two theories about the relationship between Terminia and Hyrule. The first one is that it is a parallel Universe that Link has traveled into. This seems to be the most common theorie. My second Idea which is a little far fetched is that it doesn't exist, it's all in Link's head. Let me explain. Link was traveling in the lost forest, and they say one who stays in the lost forest to long will become a skull kid. How does that process work? I belive he was going a little bit crazy and the skull kid was messing with him a little bit. It would explain why many of the charecters were from OoT. Maybe I am just thinking too much, but if you belive that lots of things would make sense and theories would arise from it.
Thank you. |

Re: Story connections btween OoT and MM?
Termina is basically a parallel alternate dimension to Hyrule. Many of the people are the same, but renamed. As for the location, it's basically Link falling through a vortex. Could Termina be Hyrule in the distant future, after the Great Sea, or Hyrule in the past? No one really knows. Well, I have no I idea how this could help, but "termina" is the spanish word for "end" and words like "terminal" in english also mean the endpoint of something. Could this be a clue?

Re: Story connections btween OoT and MM?
Most of the parallel Universe stuff makes a good anount of sence.I already know that many of the same characters were used in both OoT and MM(diff names and stuff), which that theory some-waht explains. But i still haven't beat OoT(keep getting stuck in the dang water temple), so i don't know how Link really got to Termina in the first place, other then what i can remember from the beginning of MM.
