Re: how come kokiri's are there?

i Belive the correct pronuncuation is Hylian and also perhaps they did but i always thought that people drifted in there and found that the place was sacred and such and amde the forest temple and stayed ther and over time befriended faeres and then the deku tree came and set a spell to keep them from growing up and dieing because he loved them too much but the parents had no effect from the spel but the parents children did and they never grew up. So i think thats my answer to this question and.....yes taht is truely what i belive..most defianlty not right but kinda sensible.

They are forest spirits in Human form, as is revealed in OoT and WW (OoT they are called the Children of the Deku tree, in WW the Koroks are Kokiri, only they decided to assume plant instead of Human form, that is a fact, no I did not make it up.)

What do you mean? They evolved from earlier species, they had children... That's like asking where humans came from... I think that you may be getting a bit spammy, but that's just me.

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious the Kokiri's came from the Deku Tree.

Right, at the beginning of OoT a girl tells Link the Great Deku Tree is their father. The Kokiri are not orphans who remain children forever in the Lost Woods. If you think they are then you've been watching too many Peter Pan movies.

Yeah, the girl did say that, but I don't think it means anything becuase the Korkiris were oblivious to just about everything that was going on around them anyway. (except saria)
