Who is Majora?

Does anybody know who actauly made Majoras Mask? I do! (*hee hee*) Try and figure it out (TIP: I know its Majora, but who is Majora? Heres another tip, u meet him durring ur jurny in MM but dont relize its him!)

The mask supposeably was used by an tribe for worshipping or tribal cerimonies and such..but who is majora?. i have no clue what so ever if they even told that much in the game. But i do know it was a tribal mask. hope i helped.

Tribal Mask? Wow! Majoras older than I thought! (TIP: Go to the old granny in the hotel. Put on the all night mask. listen to all her stories. listen VERY closely! Beat the game. Listen to the end (after u beat Majoras mask) VERY closely!) Secreats revealed.

The Happy Mask Man tells you that Majora's Mask was used by an ancient tribe during their rituals. I don't know what else there is to it. If you supposedly have more information on this subject, why don't you inform us?

Actually they tell the story of how Majora was created and locked away, right near the beginning of the story. The mask salesman tells you it, explaining all of the evil power the mask holds, and thats why he wants you to get the mask for him.

grrr..... are u implying that im lying? Geez.... I just wanned to see if u could figure it out...... man. Fine I'll tell u. I think its the skull kid.

Errr, no, the skull kid was possessed by the mask. He isn't Majora O-o The mask itself says it has no need for the puny skull kid, once you've called on the giants. So, saying that the poor wooden creature is in fact the spirit that was once concealed in the mask, well....that is a lie. You do get to know what Majora was, the tribe, as others before me has said.

THATS WRONG!!!!! Listen to the old ladys longest story! SEE!!!!! I think after time the mask gained a mind of its own and over powered its master.

The Four Giants, is it?

This is quite long, but it is a good
story for you to hear, so I'll read
it with some extra gusto.
Ahem...
"The Four Giants."
This tale's from long ago when all
the people weren't separated into
four worlds like they are now.
In those times all the people lived
together, and the four giants lived
among them.

On the day of the festival that
celebrates the harvest, the giants
spoke to the people...

"We have chosen to guard the
people while we sleep..."

"100 steps north,
100 steps south,
100 steps east,
100 steps west."
"If you have need, call us in a
loud voice by declaring something
such as, 'The mountain blizzard
has trapped us.'"
"Or 'The ocean is about to
swallow us.' Your cries shall carry
to us..."

Now then...There was one who
was shocked and saddened by
all this.

A little imp.

The imp was a friend of the
giants since before they had
created the four worlds.

"Why must you leave?"

"Why do you not stay?"

The childhood friend felt
neglected, so he spread his anger
across the four worlds.
Repeatedly, he wronged all people.
Overwhelmed with misfortune, the
people sang the song of prayer to
the giants who lived in each of
the four compass directions.
The giants heard their cry and
responded with a roar.
"Oh, imp. Oh, imp. We are the
protectors of the people."
"You have caused the people pain.
Oh, imp, leave these four worlds!
Otherwise, we shall tear you
apart!"
The imp was frightened and
saddened.

He had lost his old friends.
The imp returned to the heavens,
and harmony was restored to the
four worlds.

And the people rejoiced and they
worshiped the giants of the four
worlds like gods. And they lived
happily...ever after...

there. Now, tell me, where does it say the Imp is Majora? It stole the mask from the Happy Mask Salesman, got possessed and then regretted it. The Giants were his old friends, true, but he isn't Majora.

THERE!!!!!!!! Now.... beat the game..... what does the skull kid say?

He wonders if the giants hadn't forgotten about him. Yes, it proves he is the imp from the story, but it doesn't say he is Majora. All he did was spread a little chaos. You get to know that the Majora was an ancient tribe. Why would it be an imp? Just cause the skull kid made some chaos doesn't mean he must be the Majora.

The Skull Kid stole the mask of Majora from the Happy Mask Salesman, we get to know this in the game. The mask seals a great evil, we get to know that in the game. The Majora was an ancient tribe of evil mages, we get to know this in the game. The Imp gets possesssed by the mask, we get to know this in the game. The Imp knew the giants, also we know this from the game. But, no where does we learn that he should be the Majora. Because he isn't. Besides, we also learn that the imp knew Link from before, from OoT and Lost Woods.

Ya 8bit i told you that it was a tribal mask and how could the skull kid be majora when he probably was born 14 years ago. So really i dont think Majora is just a little skul kid.

So... hes the imp from the legend. Lets say he didnt create the mask...... how do u soppose...... he lived that long? remember its a legend.

Well.....proabably sense this is a legend in it self...i dont know....but we do know that majora is not the skull kid and the skull kid didnt make it. So really it could have been any skull kid really

Excuse me, but what says imps can't live forever? You do not have any proof that imps have a human life span, for all we know, they can live for thousands of years, perhaps more. So, yes, the imp from the legend is probably the same imp as Link meets in Lost Woods. BUT, it is not the Majora. The Imp (as said a thousand times) stole the mask! He even admits it himself!
