I did it! I got under the ice in Zoras Domain!

I don't know if there has been a thread on this. Or if any of you have done this before. But I got under the ice in Zoras Domain! Man it is awesome. I saw how you could do it on another site. So after a couple tries, I managed to get under the ice. So I decided to share it with you guys.

So to do it, go to Lake Hylia, equip the Zora Tunic and Iron boots and go in the water. Once there go to the entrance of the Water Temple. Now, stand so it would only take one step for you to enter the Water Temple. Unequip the iron boots and float up a ways. You will float up a ways and now be sort of inside the island. Now swim right or left. Just don't swim forward or you will enter the Water Temple. Now equip your iron boots and you will sink down a bit and be outside the play area. All you will see is sky and a black space below you. Now just swim and sink your way to the entrance to Zoras Domain. If you sink into the black space too far you will fall and be taken to the entrance of where ever you came from. If you go to far up, you will come up through the ground and be back in the play area. The hardest part of all this is that the camera is fixed to the position of where you exited the play area. So you will have to use the map in the bottom right corner of the screen. Now the hardest part is actually getting in to the entrance. You have to get past the ice and surface and just the right spot. The map will come in handy here. Also I recomend putting a piece of tape on the screen to mark the entrance. Just go up to the entrance and stand right in front of it and put a piece of tape right infront of Links arrow pointer on the map. That will help.

So if you get it all just right, you will be under the ice in Zoras domain. Its pretty hard to do and will take you a few tries. But you will get it. If you thought my discription was bad, just try it your self and you will probably understand. I must say being under the ice is awesome.

It's odd when you're under the ice, how you can just pop up straight through it.

Yes...It does seem pretty complicated, but I really wanna try it! It'll be the first thing I do once I get OoT back from my brother.

That sounds like the time I went inside Hyrule Castle o.O
I did it 3 years ago they way you described it is like how to get inside the castle.

No there is no Zora. But there is that hole everybody thought led somewhere. But there is nothing in it. Or is there? Actually there is a so called secret to the hole. But I still haven't seen it with my own eyes. And when and if I do I will tell you how to get to it. I know what the secret is, but I'm not telling you until I see it myself, because I am a little sceptic on if it truly is there or not.

heh this kinda makes me remember that time in gta3 i got under the subway's railway road and landed on a randoms treet.

Good job Merc! And what you said about GTA3 is strange.

On a side note, if your under the ice but accidentally come up through the ice, just play the Suns Song. It will warp you back to the opening under the ice. And it will save you a lot of time. So you don't have go back to Lake Hylia and do all that stuff over again.

I tried it a while back and it worked. It was very frustrating how I kept entering the Water Temple, but it paid off.
I think something I did while trying let me swim in the sky, very cool.
What's under the ice in Zora's Domain is basically what you see above the ice. I tried entering the archway but it didn't lead me anywhere.

But how do you enter Hyrule Castle? Does it involve the frustrating Dead End corner walk?

nothing at all, hehe you just see exactly what you see from above water, or when you dive as a kid.
Altho i managed to come up behind the frozen waterfall
you know what i found funny? that while you're going to the zora's domain's entrance, you can see the sun or the moon under you O_o

For anyone who wants to get inside Hyrule Castle:

Yes, it does involve the dead end seam walk. Which is one of the easier seam walks, really...
Go to the castle (as a child, obviously). Go to the short passageway leading to the fairy fountain. Look at the corner on the left of the entrance to the passage. If you position yourself just right, you can walk up the wall, keeping on the corner between the two planes. Once you get to the top, you can walk on the ground there without falling off, and see the sun over the edge of the world, etc. Go towards the castle - you will see from this angle it looks very odd, as they haven't bothered drawing it from angles people should never see. Once you get close to it, there is a plane that you can slide down and will take you through the fence into the place where Talon was asleep. You don't want to do that. If you're careful, and roll away from the fenced area, you can fall just to the side of it, inside the small stream before it gets into the area you are normally able to get to. You can now get inside the castle. It's full of water. When I did it, the camera was stuck near the bottom of the water, so it was quite hard to see around.
