Does anyone think it's funny that in one of the moon dungeons there is a Gossip Stone telling you where to find the Mask of Truth? I found it hilarious!

It's an in game hint in case you missed it and want to go back through and 100% the game. Things like that end up in games quite often.

No, the funny thing is that you need the Mask of Truth to read the Gossip Stone in the first place.

Good point, I had forgotten about then. In that case it's probably either a funny little easter egg, or they were trying to make it realistic in that the gossips stones just talk about what they hear, it doesn't matter if it's still important. Most likely the former though.

I forgot about that. It does seem a little odd. My guess is they were just trying to tie things up that close to the end.

Weird....maybe a lack of thought on their part?

They ran out of things to put into those stones... Or they just want to mess with your heads. I like this kind of things. Makes you go "?" for a moment and then enjoy the irony of it.

Actually, the gossip stones in the Moon, tell where various masks are. I think they mention something about the Fierce Deity's Mask either on the Moon or in Ikana.

Don't all the Gossip Stones in MM just say locations of masks? They probably have a stone for each mask. And yes I lauhged when I read it

Well, even if thats true, they obviously weren't thinking when they made the Mask of Truth gossip stone. I never knew about this, but its pretty funny.

Only the ones from moon dungeons, 5 in each one that make up for the 20 non-transformation masks. Outside of the moon, most of them hints the heart pieces.

I don't think they didn't think (this sentence sounds strange)... They were only making a joke.
