N64 Zelda Challenges

What challenges can you make that will make MM or OoT harder to play? List them here.
Like getting the Zora eggs to get the New Wave Bossa Nova with only one bottle or getting all the Zora eggs without using the stone mask now thats a pretty tough challenge.
Or beating Majora's Mask without the Fierce Deity's Mask.
In OoT how about getting "000" death count beating the game.
I like a challenge so give me your best ones.

That's easy to get around.

After you die, when it asks you if you want to save, say "No" and it doesn't count it.

Yeah but thats kinda cheating you actually have to get "000" its makes it more of a challenge... If you know what I mean.

Yes, but there are sometimes where you can't help but die. If you're in the middle of a boss battle about to die, you can't go out and find more health.

Besides, if that doesn't count, neither does saving then turning the game off if you die, and trying again.

Yeah you do have a point there... Okay then lets just not have that as a challenge then. Okay anyway do you have any challenges for the N64 Zelda games because thats what this thread is specifically about you know..

Re: N64 Zelda Challenges

Well once you get Farore's Wind, you can set a warp in the room that has the boss door. You can do this after you visit the first great fairy and learn the sword spin. Maybe it can be done earlier. It's useful if you want to get out get some stuff then warp back to the boss instead of wasting some time by walking there.

Re: N64 Zelda Challenges

I enjoy doing the different temples in a wrong order. This, of course, often requires a lot of glitches, but once you're able to pull them off somewhat consistently it's awfully fun to, for example, enter the shadow temple first after becoming an adult. It made me go back to play Zelda again and again after having played it for over 10 years. And there are so many options.

It's a total game changer, everyone should try it.

Beat OoT collecting only 16 items. Its so hard no one has actually ever completed it (although I'm extremely close, at adult spirit).

If no one has actually completed it, how were they able to describe the sequence and list out the challenge for others to follow? 0_O

All of the tricks to make it possible have been found and done, just not all at once on the same file. People know the game extremely well to plan everything out like that.

Re: N64 Zelda Challenges

1: Complete OoT without Epona.
2: Complete OoT with only the original 3 hearts.
3: Complete OoT without the lens of truth (that's only hard on a couple dungeons).

No red fairies, red potions, or blue potions.

I know it seems kind of easy, but some people can't play without them.
