Worst Zelda N64 quests

Whats your least favorite quest from Zelda majoras mask and zelda Ocarina of time. My least favorite Quest from Ocarina of time was getting the Biggoron sword. You races against the time to go all around Hyrule getting Stuff for that sword. In Majoras mask I hated getting all the Title Deeds D: it was annoying and repetitive!

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests

Title deeds, only annoying because of the repetition. Getting the Ice Arrows in OoT was stupid in my opinion.

I thought that the sidequest in OoT about that guy in the forest was pretty stupid.

The Mask Quest in OoT.

Is kind of difficult to figure out who is the owner of every mask and the reward isn't very satisfying

And 100% pointless.

Are the Ice Arrows even used for anything?

Nonetheless, Ice Arrows can be useful as they can freeze most enemies. The Ice Arrows are also effective against the Shadow Temple boss Bongo Bongo; Link can use them to freeze his hands.

No.

Just a side note, this is one of the reasons why I like MM a lot more than OoT. Every item in MM is useful...

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests

It's not a big deal that the Ice Arrows aren't necessary because you don't HAVE to get them. They just make things more convenient, so getting them is optional.

I liked the Biggoron Sword quest too.

Ummmmmmmmm let's see though, what didn't I like...

Oh, in Majora's Mask, the side quest with capturing that thief with Kafei. It was a cool little thing and all, but it got annoying to do. I remember getting pretty frustrated with it.

Anju and Kafei Quest in MM, and the Biggoron Sword in OOT.

Booooooooooooooring. At least you get some cool items out of them, though.

I can't believe you posted that! I loved the biggoron sword, it kept me busy when I didnt feel like doing the story.

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests

Biggoron's Sword side quest allows you to do this glitch.

But on topic, hmm. I liked them all really. The Big Poe hunt in OoT for a bottle was kind of boring. In MM I didn't enjoy getting the bottle from Dampe, but it was epic in a way that time was nearly running out when I did it.

In MM definitely the title deeds side quest, bored me to tears.

Not really, but I love the ice arrows I just liked freezing things and I thought the battle ground was a cool little side quest. Obviously I am in the minority here though.

In OoT I guess the Happy Mask salesman side quest was the most boring for me.

Item to Item = Big Super Worth It Item. Always going to be tedious.

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests

It doesn't really count as its own quest... but the part of the biggoron's sword quest in Ocarina of Time where Anju gives you an egg, which hatches, and you use it to wake up Talon. Then you get the blue cucco.

I love the blue cucco, I do. It's just that Anju's brother was one of the most potentially interesting side characters in the game and his fate is disappointing. I didn't finish the quest until many play throughs after that because I would just get so upset when her brother was "lost". It just wasn't satisfying. It seemed more like Nintendo didn't know what to do with him so they just made him disappear.

Blah.

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests

The mask selling quest. It was so tedious finding the correct person to sell to, then run back and give the money to the store. Even though you can use the Mask Of Truth once you're done, it's not the most spectacular of rewards.

What's the point of that quest again?

There isn't really much of a point. It's an optional quest to do while you're a child. At the end of the quest you have the ability to rent out any of the masks you sold, as well as the Mask Of Truth. The only masks that are useful are the bunny hood (makes Stalchildren vanish from Hyrule Field) and Mask Of Truth (allows you to speak with gossip stones).

OoT's biggoron sword quest...

Because you need to exchange a lot of items with different people... and it's stressing...
