Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests
In MM, the Anju and Kafei side quest. I still haven'r completed it, nor can I think of all but one way to get into Sakon's fortress.

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests
If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now.
Ikana Well was the worst thing to come out of MM. It was a combination of the trading quest in OOT and the triforce hunting in WW with none of the benefits of either one (not that the latter had any benefits beyond mandatory plot progression). No, don't give me that "your own fault if you weren't prepared for it" crap either, becuase there's no chance in hell they WANTED us to be prepared for it, or even remember it (and don't give me that "your own fault if you can't remember correctly" crap either). |

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests
Anju and Kafei's quest. No, really.
It's the longest and most painful sidequest you will find in the entirety of Majora's Mask. It spans all three days, and you need to be aware of all things needed to be done at specific times, otherwise it's all for nothing. What you have to do is fine enough - some talking, some more talking, yet MORE talking and finally a very minor sequence where you control both Link and Kafei and slay a handful of monsters while a timer is ticking. The WAITING is unbearable though. And for all that waiting, you get a mask that does absolutely nothing. The Fierce Deity Mask almost isn't worth the boredom.

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests
The Kafei/Anju quest is kind of a pain but i kinda like doing it.
The Goron race/guilded sword bit pisses me off to no end. I hate those races. Dampe's racing annoys me greatly. I havent actually tried to get the Ice Arrows in OoT in years. Mostly because they are so useless.

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests
The big poe quest in OoT is just painful to do. It takes me about an hour just to get the one by Kakariko village because it keeps running into the wall and disappearing.
For MM, the deku deeds was annoying. That, and collecting the frogs throughout the game (I actually never even bothered to do that one.)

Re: Worst Zelda N64 quests
in MM i really hated beating the aliens on Romani Ranch, it took me so long to finally beat that, that cow mask and the subsequent crying mask were the last two that i got.
in Oot its really hard to say because it didn't have the breadth of side quests that MM has, but i guess getting all the golden skulltula's was the hardest for me, especially considering it was a pain to go back and get ones that you missed.
