OoT Trading Sequence

Has anyone actually done the trading sequence before the Fire Temple?

My question for asking is that, obviously, the hardest part (note I said hardest, doesn't mean it's hard, just the most difficult relative to the rest of it) is getting the eyedrops, because Biggeron's eyes are irritated from the eruption. Death Mountain erupts after beating the Fire Temple, so if you do the whole trading thing before the temple, can you skip the eye drops part?

The only thing you need is the longshot (to get to Gerudo Valley), but couldn't you do the water temple before the fire?

Has anyone done this? Unfortunately I thought of trying it just as the mountain erupted :s.

I almost always complete the Trading Sequence before even entering the Forest Temple. You don't need the longshot, since you can use Epona to jump the gap to Gerudo Valley. You can't skip the eyedrops part, but there's no need to anyway - just avoid the rocks as they fall along the path to the Death Mountain sumit.

It helps if you've planted the Magic Bean near the entrance to Dodongo Cavern first, but it's still not necessary.

1. You don't need the longshot, Epona can jump the gap at Gerudo Valley.
2. Instead of going up Death Mountain, go into Goron City and take the shortcut from Darunia's room into the crater by pulling away the statue. You avoid the rocks and save +1 min on your travel time.
3. It is possible to complete everything before you even enter the Forest Temple. In fact that's how I normally play the game.

You'll still have to enter the Ice Cavern to get the Blue Fire to unfreeze King Zora (you need him for the Eyeball Frog), but you can do that before the Forest Temple if you want.

Yes you can. When I play OoT always get Bigoron's sword before starting the Water Temple.

This is true. I do it everytime. It's so much easier (and quicker).

I nowdays do it after Forest Temple and Before Fire Temple.
