The real end of Oot

[Note:I played Oot when they stopped selling N64 systems and mine crashed at the fire temple. sorry if this sucks.]
Although the game Oot was played to the end, several questions still remain. What happened to Malon, Mido, Link the Goron, the Zora king, the skulltula familly and the guy in the windmill? These are some ideas I collected that could have happened after Link defeated Ganondorf.
-Malon:
After Malons father retired, she married the son of Kakariko villages gate guard and they took over the Ranch together. They had two sons and one daughter. The eldest son became a guard for the royal familly, the other son found an interest in the happy mask salesman and became his apprentice and the daughter helped manage the ranch.
-Mido:
One day, Mido visited the dead deku tree and met the deku tree-sprout who told him Links story. Mido felt bad about the fact that he wasn't very nice to him and tried to make it up by stepping in his footsteps. The problem was that hyrule already was saved and had no need of another savior, so he bought a sword and shield and decided to become an explorer instead, finding treasures in temples and finding easier ways to cross dungeons. Soon, he was entitled: "the great Kokiri explorer" and he told everybody he met Links story, thus, making a legend.
-Link the Goron:
Link the Goron also decided to become like Link, so he set off, rolling down deathmountain to Kakariko village. There he met the man in the Windmill and told him to get over his grief because the boy in the green tunic probably had no clue that his song could summon storms. He met Mido in front of the forest temple and
they became good friends all explorer companions.
-Zora king & Ruto:
The king of the Zoras lived for another 30 years before he died. the Zoras were overcome with sorrow, until Ruto became queen she freed the race of many problems and the Zoras loved her, very much
-Skulltula house:
After the curse was lifted, the Skulltula familly found a love in music and became Darunias musicians. In exchange, Darunia made them Goron brothers and sisters and were welcome to deathmountain, anytime.
-Windmill guy:
the man in the windmill found some logic in Links' words, so he bought an ocarina and set off to share his music with the world. When he arrived in Gerudo valley, there was a drought and the Gerudians were suffering. He played the song of storm, making an end to the draught. The Gerudians crowned him king of the storms and he stayed there for the rest of his live.

-please don't be to harsh with commenting on my text. this is my first post, a I had to write it on my htc which doesn't have tab or shift, and, as I said before, I never got a chance to finish the game.

Nice fanfic. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell how anything went after OoT ended, except for what is told in MM and WW.

Why would it suck? Everyone's entitled to their own imagination.

Aren't the kokiri at the ranch at the end of the game? Maybe it's just a rumor that they die, to keep the kokiri from getting lost.

Interesting ideas. It's true we don't know for sure, but it would be interesting to know what happens to characters inbetween games.

Well done, if finishing the story of OoT and writing is something that interest you. I would encourage you to write a full scale version. Such as tracing all the various character chronologies breaking each into a chapter. Near limitless source information exists on the 'net in the form of walkthroughs for OoT and all of the various incarnations of the Zelda games. It is a near limitless universe.

Re: The real end of Oot

Link totally bangs Malon at the end of OoT. That's his after game reward, the one the players don't get to witness.

Koume and Kotake continue to argue on for millenia, a major point in their bickering focusing around the fact that they have halos instead of horns and pitchforks, as they thought they would get after dying.

Ingo starts his own ranch because Talon doesn't change his ways. He hires a Gerudo Maid to do all the work for him and he ends up being fat and lazy just like Talon. In their old age, they both sit on their porches with shotguns nearby and sunflower seeds to chew on while they reminisce about the old days.

Skullkid becomes an avid mask fan. Wait...that really happened.

Kaepora Gaebora flies to Link's window one night and confesses his feelings of love for the young boy. The Owl is Gay.

Ganondorf goes into hiding and begins a small chain of barber shops throughout the kingdom. Somehow he always manages to cut everyone's hair so that they have bright red chops on the sides of their faces as the end result. Even the women have chops. No refunds allowed, folks.

And that is the true story of what happened after OoT.

OoT Ending

Ive heard many questions and ideas about the end of OoT. When Link is sent back in time, how exactly does he get Princess Zelda to believe that Ganondorf should be executed? What happens in between link telling Zelda about ganondorf and his execution? Does he run away, or is he caught off guard? This thread is about all the theories and ideas people have about what happens at the end of Zelda OoT.

Re: The real end of Oot

Link tells Zelda of Ganon's future evil deeds and she convinces the King of Hyrule that Link was telling the truth. So as a reward, Link is allowed to stay or come and go at the castle. Link then gets all sad & lonely without his beloved and invaluable Navi, and leaves Hyrule to go on the MM adventure. He gets over his melancholic loneliness in being a social misfit without his precious Navi and matures after the MM adventure to finally return to Hyrule.

He then grows up to be a hero/knight that serves the royal family, and does some heroic deeds to defeat Ganondorf in the Child Timeline to finally have him banished to the Twilight realm. After that Link settles down with Malon and has children so TP Link could be born 100 years or so later.

THE END.

Wow, very interesting interpretation. Especially the part with Malon. I mean, if TP Link is a descendent, makes sense considering he lives on a farm. Good job here.

There is a theory that some people believe which states that Link marries Malon at the end of OoT and moves away from Hyrule and had children starting the game Twilight Princess.

I like the idea of Mido becoming an explorer and I DEFINITELY like the "Link bangs Malon" theory... but what does Ganondorf do in the sacred realm for so long? Drink his life away?

Ganondorf went mad for many years in the Sacred Realm, he also seen illusions of Link laughing at him, he also named his hand Little Ganon and talked to it because he was lonely.

That's what's said in the game. It's up for debate though.

I assumed it was just something the Deku Tree told them so they wouldn't leave the forest and get themselves killed.

Saria supposedly transcends mortal life (or even immortal in this case) and becomes a higher being as a Sage.
