If there was a Wind Temple?

I've heard that the Forest temple was originally going to be the Wind Temple. But I have two questions.

1) Why was the Wind Temple in the middle of the Forest (Lost Woods)

2) Where would the Forest Temple have been situated if in fact there was the Wind Temple?

I really don't know how to answer your questions but I'll try.

1) Maybe because it has a little feild and it's kinda airy. Something like that. It could also have been more room around the temple and it could be taller.

2)It could be closer to the Kokiri Forest. I think that would make it easier but you would still have that maze in front so that the game wouldn't be to easy.

I'm just saying that if they were really going to put a wind temple, that's how it could be put together like that. I really don't know if they were thinking of doing that, I just wanted to try to be helpful.

1.) Because Farore is the goddess of Wind and Courage.

2.) It wouldn't be in a different place to me.

I dunno, but there was a Wind Temple that was not unlike the Forest Temple in TWW. I don't really see the connection between woods and wind myself, but then again a bird girl was the sage of the Earth in TWW.

If there was a Wind Temple in the forest, I doubt there would be a Forest Temple.

But I thought they originally planned to have a forest, fire, water, shadow, spirit, wind and ice?

Mabey the wind temple could have been somehwere else. Leave the forest temple where it is. Put the wind temple hovering up in the air or something (kinda like the SKy temple in TP) and whatever the wind temple's song would be could teleport you there.

I don't think they would do this, because they did that with the Shadow Temple (The song was the only way to access it). And the only reason I ask is because I thought there was a theory (from Symbls, etc.) that the forest temple was strangely 'windy' (only word I can think of).

I read some where that it was going to be one wind temple and one ice temple in OOT.
But the ice temple became the ice cavern, and the wind temple was completely scrapped in favour for the forest temple. I also read that the little kokiri girl Fado was going to be the wind sage

That's what I heard, and the Forest Symbol does look a bit like a stylized pinwheel. Also in Japan, the wind is often represented by the colour green (at least in almost every rpg and Japanese game I have played, that is the case.)

The Wind Temple in TWW is very similar to the Forest Temple, and the Forest Barrier in Ganon's Tower is protected by a lot of fans...

plus the bow and arrow can be considered a weapon of the wind for it's fast moving projectiles.

1) Because forest have a suitable atmosphere for wind based elements... second only to the skies itself... and farore has a connection with winds...

2) There would be no forest temple... and the closest dungeon you could get would be the deku tree.
