Re: Best Albums Ever
So what if its my opinion? I don't like them. I said MOST of songs, songs I've heard. I'm not into listening to every song of a band I dislike. I feel that the chord progression was the same. I didnt hear much variation of the actual music. Sorry if I disagree.
As much as you might think that its something that can't be disagreed upon, it is. Music is not fact.

Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene
Tangerine Dream - White Eagle King Crimson - Larks Tongues in Aspic I'm sure I'm forgetting a Kraftwerk album that I listened to once and really impacted on me but for I can't find the cover of it. So I can't tell you what it is.

Re: Best Albums Ever
![]() The Zombies Odessey and Oracle Great 60s psychedelic pop in lieu of the Beatles. Critically acclaimed but surprisingly not that popular these days, from what I've gathered. Pretty disappointing, because in my opinion this is an almost hidden gem that a lot of people are missing out on. It share similarities to some of the work from the Beatles, but at the same time has an original charm to it. Definitely a must-listen, for any fan of classic rock. |

Re: Best Albums Ever
I've said it a million times before. People who claim the Beatles 'suck' are merely trying to be different and stir up a response from people who like them. It's a very basic form of trolling.
![]() Anyway, if you are serious, go listen to the White Album from start to finish and then tell me even two songs sound even remotely the same. If you honestly think that, Mikauu, you're an idiot.

Re: Best Albums Ever
![]() Circle of Dust - Disengage. The first and second CoD albums were fairly generic industrial releases, Disengage set itself apart from the pack through the incorporation of influences from other genres. Whether it be Klayton's rapping on 'Yurasuka', the terse electronics of 'Chasm' or the ethereal atmosphere created by 'Perelandra', Disengage weaves these influences into a fluid blend that represents the beginnings of Klayton's later work, yet also retains the distinctive Circle of Dust sound that earned the band its following in the first place.

Re: Best Albums Ever
Well, if we're talking Nightwish
![]() I haven't heard that much Nightwish earlier than this, just snippets. But from what I've heard, the stuff from Once is definitely my favorite, and this is probably my favorite album that has anything to do with metal. I also think it was pretty much the pinnacle of their achievements, I didn't like Dark Passion Play at all. It had exquisite vocals, the lyrics were as un-silly as Nightwish gets, both pluses. I still love Ghost Love Score. Also, if we're talkin' Beatles, I'm a Revolver woman.

Re: Best Albums Ever
I'll think about it. I've been thinking of doing a "re-vamp" of sorts to the music section anyway.
