Do you like "System of a Down"?

Does anyone like System of a Down? I find that I really enjoy their music considering that it's pretty heavy. I'm not usually one for this kind of music but System of a Down does it for me. Two of my favorite songs are Chop Suey and Aerials.
I usually listen sometimes when I'm in a pi**** mood.

Lonely Day is actually a pretty good song. Everything else is pretty terrible.

NOTE: I hated their Legend of Zelda song they made. I thought it was disrespect to The Legend of Zelda.
Hate it.
Other than that, it's every now and then.

I thought this was laid to rest. Some **** band called Rabbit Joint made that song, not System of a Down. Also, how in the world is that song disrespectful?

Zelda songs never have words in them and should never at all in my opinion. The way they said the words sounded retarded/silly/weird. To me that's disrespect to the game in it's self.

I was a pretty big fan a few years back, I've got all the albums. I pretty much never listen to them any more, but they're not bad. The self titled album was really the pinnacle of their achievements, followed by Steal This Album, followed by Toxicity, followed by the other two.

I don't know about the latest ones, I liked some songs and loathed others. Hypnotize, Question!, She's Like Heroine, all gold. But some of the others just pissed me off (Old School Hollywood never worked for me, and Lonely Day probably lost me at the line"The most loneliest day of my life", but it bored me to begin with). So they were sort of hit and miss.

But yeah, pretty good band, and I'll defend them against the overwhelming amount of people on the internet who don't like them (I never knew there were so many XD)

I think it's because people don't understand the lyrics in a majority of their songs. They usually have meaning.

I used to love them, but now I realize that their songs, for the most part, are stupid and unthought out. There's a couple spots in Steal This Album where Daron's voice cracks. Mainly they just know what people want to hear, but if you try to disect their songs any more then that you're due for dissapointment.

Daron's vocals can **** right off. He was okay in backing, but once he started actually singing, things went downhill fast. It's probably why the last albums annoyed me.

I don't really care for SOAD at all. However, back a few years ago, I was a pretty big fan of the band. However, I moved onto better things since then. I think there latest albums are awful, though I do have soft spots for their self titled and Steal This Album! I'll occasionally listen to them now and then, but it's usually for the nostalgia factor.

I used to like the band a lot, but now I can only deal with a couple songs without leaving the room.

Soldier Side and IEAIAIO are my favorites of theirs.

No, I really don't. B.Y.O.B. is really the only song I find tolerable. Mostly because I haven't really looked that far into their music; most of my issues are due to Serj. He's annoying as hell.

They're ok now and again I guess.

I used to listen to them all the time. I got a bit embarrassed to be a fan of theirs when they began being overly preachy on stage about politics, using words that they don't know the definition of (for example, "Fascist"), even going as far as insulting their listeners intelligence by not releasing Hypnotize/Memzerize as a double album because we have "short attention spans nowadays". Condescending and whiny, I tell you.

Yep, I love SOAD. B.Y.O.B. is probably my favourite, but I like their humorous songs as well, such as Prison Song and Cigaro.
