Bloodhound Gang and Gnarkill are both hilarious bands. I'm a big fan of both of them.
Check out One Fierce Beer Coaster, Hooray for Boobies and Hefty Fine from Bloodhound Gang. All great albums. Then, the first Gnarkill album is a real gem, with tracks like Mustard Man and Pantyhose Pornshop being amoung my favorites. |

Fall Out Boy are quite funny, although I'm sure that's unintentional.
I remember watching a video of one of their gigs on YouTube, where there was a bit of a barney. I can't remember what happened, I think one of the crowd might have smudged their eyeliner, but for some reason, Pete Wentz felt the need to leap from the stage like superman to lay a slap down. It was hilarious, partly because he looks like something that's been picked off of the Bratz production line, but also because of the screams from the audience! It sounded like a thousand kittens being set on fire. Anyway, he eventually gets back on the stage and says something like 'that's what happens when you **** with my friends,' but I still don't know what actually happened to whoever it was that was having a meltdown. Did he kill then? Are they currently living in an iron lung? Hardly scenes from the Godfather. I always cringe when people feel the need to push their weight around like over-sexed chimps in public. Especially when it's Don Wentz. |

^(to Vega) I believe he was attacking a security guard for getting too rough with a concert-goer. Though apparently the guy just likes to beat on people at their shows, since apparently he's getting sued for it.
Anywho, funniest band that is actually a comedy band: Flight of the Conchords. Also, I suppose I should mention that I have found Captain Tractor's cover of The Arrogant Woms' "The Last Saskatchewan Pirate" consistantly funny for like eight years. Last edited by Galedeep; 05-01-2008 at 01:07 PM. |

Where the hell is They Might Be Giants? Why has it taken so long for them to be mentioned? What is wrong with you people? :<
Also, Jonathan Coulton is pretty amazing. I'd suggest his songs Re: Your Brains, Tom Cruise Crazy, Mr. FancyPants and Skullcrusher Mountain for beginners. They're amazing and witty and hillarious and cool and amazing, the whole lot of them!

Dethklok's lyrics are pretty funny, and the music isn't too shabby either (occasionally). Tenacious D is pretty good, and Weird Al is hilarious ("I Think I'm a Clone Now" FTW).

Well, excluding the appaling "Pick of Destiny" movie and accompanying album, Tenacious D with Tenacious D has to be rated among some of the funniset musical comedy I've heard. It's still one of my top albums.
Another band I find hilarious, although I'm not actually sure whether I'm meant to or not, is Hayseed Dixie. They cover a variety of popular and classic songs in the country genre. Be it unintentional or not I think a lot of their covers are brilliant and witty. YouTube them if curiosity holds you, I can't post any links from it right now. ~ Adhamh. |

Enter Shikari makes me laugh every time I hear them but I don't think that is the desired effect.
Electric Six makes me laugh too (but I actually like them).

Listen to Pain. Their lyrics are the most creative I've heard of any band. One of my favorite bands forever. You all should listen to them.
