Anyone here listen to Gorilaz? I think there the best band ever. There a virtual band which means that all there music videos are cartoons, not real people. They recorded there first song in 1998 but released there first album and video in 2000. Look up Feel Good Inc on youtube and you'll see how good there music is.

I think the Gorilaz are amazing. A great mix of music and with the voice of Blur you cant go wrong. The best thing about them though apart from the music is the band art and videos. Its just amazingly drawn...shame they broke up. The new band that the lead singer is in now is good too though called 'The Good, The Bad & The Queen'.

If anyone wants to hear more of them other than the two main album releases, check out both their B-Side albums, G-Sides and D-Sides.

I'm also a big fan of many of the artists they have collaborations with, such as Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, MF Doom, Dan "The Automator" Nakamura and DJ Dangermouse.

I have Demon Days, which I bought on a whim, and have heard a couple tracks off their first album. I like them well enough, they're a band I listen to when they come up on my playlist, but don't often actively seek them out unless a specific song is stuck in my head.

They're on an indefinite hiatus, basically. I personally don't think they'll be making anymore albums, and there's certainly been nothing to hint otherwise.

Not all is bad though, as there will be an upcoming documentary film following the "band" over the past seven or so years. It will be called Bananaz, but I'm not sure about a release date.

There was an actual plot-based movie planned a few years back, but none of the scripts would cut it.

They're okay. I do like a few of their songs, but I've only heard a couple that aren't on Demon Days. "DARE" is pretty cool.

I like Gorillaz, not love, like. They're good and all, but I don't know, something about them just doesn't click with me.

Yeah, I really like Gorillaz. Damon Albarn is close to being a modern musical genius, some of his songwriting, and the range of styles he can write for is just brilliant.

And I love Jamie Hewlett's art, too.


Saying all that, Double Bass is probably one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Ever.

I haven't listen to them in a long time. Don't get me wrong I do like them, It's just that I haven't listened to them in a while. I own 2 of their CDs, Demon Days and Gorilaz. My favorite is Gorilaz. Oh yeah. Their the first band to really get me into music. Now I listen to all kinds of music accept rap and country.

Feel Good Inc is the best song I ever heard everything about it is so good they obvisously worked on it until ever last detail was perfect. Animantion is beautiful and the song has a very deep meaning. There is no band like them.
