Whee! Paramore is awesome. I used to have a signature set and everything.

Brighter is probably my favourite song, although My Heart and Emergency are amazing as well. Don't you find that the first album is so much more durable than the second? From Riot!m there is the inevitable Misery Business. I also love When it Rains and Fences.

Paramore's pretty good I guess. Not my favorite band, but they have some nice songs.

And the red-head chick is hot ^^.

No one has even mentioned what music they play or anything about them. Are they worth trying?

They're okay. I used to like their stuff when I first heard it, but know that that songs I liked are constantly on the radio, I find them rather annoying. I do like For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic, though.

Their Myspace say they play Alternative and Regional Mexican <- xD
But they sound like Punk/Rock/Alternative to me.
THEY ARE REALLY WORTH TRYING in my opinion.

They are a pop-punk outfit with a really strong female vocalist. The music is pretty much driven by really strong guitar hooks and solid vocal melodies. They're worth checking out if that's what you're into, otherwise I can't reccomend them. You pretty much have to either like the style of music or be really really open-minded when it comes to pop music and be able to appreciate a good pop song.

I dig Paramore quite a bit, though I agree with Euphoria when I say that I think their debut album is better and has more staying power than Riot!, though it isn't a bad album in and of itself. I do hope they continue as a band, because if these are the songs they write when they are this young, then I can't wait to hear what they bring out as they continue to mature and gain experience.

I'm pretty sure you're the person that told me All We Know is Falling is better in the first place. Anyway, I've decided that I am majorly into Paramore again (as you can see). It's odd that I'm so hyped about Misery Business after as long as a year. It's sad in a way.

Not all that surprising, "Misery Business" has a monsterously good guitar hook, probably one of the catchiest things they've ever written. I think that's why the album doesn't have as much staying power in the first place though, it has some of their best hooks, but they aren't as frequent. On All We Know I think the majority of the songs have at least one semi-good vocal or guitar hook. The only other hook on Riot! that can really compare is the vocal one in "Crushcrushcrush."

I saw them live last August and they were good. They're really popular right now, but if you ask me, a lot of people like them for the wrong reasons. I find a lot of kids at my town's middle school who says they like this band because "THEIR SINGER'S HAIR IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!".

Anyway, my opinion on Paramore: They're good, but they still need practice. Hayley Williams is a good singer, but she doesn't really fit the sound that the band makes at the moment. I think they need to mature a bit before I can say that they are a "great" band.

I dont know which album I like better, they are both very different to me.Misery Business is the song I first got hooked on (sadly).
And may I say that M.B. is like a waaaay different song compared to the rest of their songs. I dont really know why,but that song is a BIG guilty pleasure for me -_- And have you ever noticed that almost every single one of their songs have "WOAH!!!"s in them?? xD They even have a song titled "whoa" xD
btw,nice sig Euphoria!!! ^-^

Thanks xD. I got it modified to fit my name change.

Uh, I can only remember Misery Business and Whoa (funny enough) containing 'whoa'; correct me if I'm wrong. Why should Misery Business be a guilty pleasure? You should feel free to listen to whatever music you want.

"Misery Business" is a bit of a different song for them. I remember first hearing it and getting that vibe right away. I'm pretty sure it's because it's one of their only songs where the song is clearly written from the female's perspective. In all their other songs I can think of, even the songs about relationships, while they are being sung (and were written) by a girl the lyrics themselves are fairly genderless. "Misery Business" is very clearly about a girl stealing a guy.

I don't really like the video much because like you said its mean, but the song is awesome besides the couple of bad words in it.

The chick has a really good voice, but they aren't really my cup of tea. The song that is downloadable for rock band is catchy as hell though. Crushcrushcrush, I think it is.
