The rest isn't worth ranking

Now, that's just not true. I like Make Believe. I really do.

The other three, though... Buh.

I'm not really fond of Make Believe. I remember when Pitchfork reviewed that one, I think they gave it 0.4 or something crazy like that.

I hadn't heard of pitchfork before, but jesus.

All of the writers there have really good taste in music.

I got the new Weezer album today, and let me tell you. I am disappointed. You'd think that within a three year gap, the guys would've been able to do something impressive. I think this might be their worst album yet. :'(

To me, the album wasn't all bad though. I did enjoy The Greatest Man That Ever Lived and Dreamin', but the rest is just...argh.

Hmm I think it's decent, though it is indeed, pretty poo compared to what they could have done.

Better than the Green Album though indeed.

I (they're actually my dads, but i listen to them more) have blue album, pinkerton and make believe. Make Believe is by far my least favorite. I love most all the songs on blue, and El Scorcho or Pink triangle on pinkerton.
Cant wait to get the Red Album, just dont have the money =P

I have never listened to a Weezer song in my life, they don't seem to be particularly famous outside of amerriiccaaaaa.

I bought 'Make Believe'.


I heard 'We Are All On Drugs'
I listened to it again.
And again.
And again.
And again.

The first time I heard that song I played it again 9 times. One of my favourite songs of all time.

I'll go on record and say I don't particularily care for Pinkerton. Maybe I haven't given it enough listens, or something, but none of the songs really stick out for me.

I don't much care for Weezer, I strongly suspect this is because I lived in residence with a rather stereotypical roommate, and thus heard "Hash Pipe" and "The Sweater Song" and their other well-known songs about six billion times a day.

I also really really dislike Pitchfork, and think that they look at music entirely the wrong way. I've never read an entire review of theirs, and doubt I ever will.

Post your opinion on the band and favorite songs. Mine are The World Has Turned And Left Me Here, Only In Dreams, and Falling For You. In The Garage is also a favorite because I can relate to it well

Correction: Nothing will ever be as good as the Blue Album.

It seemed as though Weezer might have been on the top of the world, but here they go again with "we're nerds, but that's why we're cool."

I'm not saying image and lyrical content are the only things that matter in music, but they can and will damn near kill a song, case in point, Pork and Beans. The instumentals pieces and the vocals themselves have never, ever, ever been bad, but the flare that was on the Blue Album has never been matched or adequetly duplicated.

I'm not going to buy the Red Album.
