...Does anyone find his song Party At the Leper Colony really really mean and unlike him to sing? Like, leprosy is a real disease, still happening today. It's a horrible thing... :/ Seems very unlike Weird Al to sing about that.

It doesn't seem outside the scope of what Weird Al usually does.

Really? :/ Those things don't seem as bad compared to leprosy. It's like making fun of cancer. Leprosy is probably worse, if not just as bad as cancer.

It isn't offensive, just insesitive. I find being insensitve to issues you aren't serious about wonderful. It isn't like he means it anyway.

I didn't take offense to THAT. I took much more offense to the original zong "Ridin' Dirty". Rap these days portray white people in the worst way.

Leprosy isn't a common disease. At least not here, in the UK. If he was making fun of something like AIDS, then I would take offense. And Weird Al is a pretty cool guy, went to one of his concerts. He's not the kind of guy to make fun of people.
